Couple of weekends ago I insured my 62 after a seemingly endless 8 months of having it parked for suspension repairs and winter. First order of business was to get it stuck- a quick reminder of how easily a 5000 lb SUV sinks in an early spring thaw ditch.
But that's just the "before" picture, right? You drove it out after taking the picture? :)

Bought a used sun visor like this, it is more blackish though, not blueish.
Took it all apart and cleaned the brackets from rust and re-painted.
Sorry but i had to borrow this pic from the interwebs as my camera phone broke...

Finished up with a little front end face lift. All plastic trim pieces got a fresh coat of paint and all the metal behind it had any rust removed. What little there was back there was grinder/sanded to bare metal, etched, primed and painted. Now that it's all back together, I can hopefully get some better pics then these low light garage shots. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

@Aloha Jen Very nice job on that grill. Engine bay pics would be nice too.

WOW!

Time to change your name to Wheelin6X6

Well, the old girl hasn't been stopping lately without throwing her into neutral so it was time to check on the brakes. Fronts were worn to about 2 mil but were super easy. Rear however..
Had a bad wheel cylinder on the drivers side and a seized parking brake system. Dissimilar metal corrosion was bad. Took a while to work it loose but amazingly i didnt break anything.
Passenger side was the same with the added issue of shoe retainers missing. Doh!
Alls well though and it actually stops now.

Ordered a set of cargo sliders from AUS. and continued the gutter reseal project. Armed with a Dremel wire wheel (#442), a 1/4" chisel and a steel wire brush, I am making good but slow progress. I already have the seam sealer and the epoxy primer, I need to get the paint next. Any recommendations on a brand/kind? I am hoping to get it in spray can form.
