Can you give us some feedback on the Compressor setup?!

It's a Q industries duelly I mounted it to the inner fender with a simple angle bracket. I removed the headlight washer (it didn't work anyway) and ran the hose outlet through the hole. It worked out perfect. I store the hose and attachments in the bumper along with all the wench accessories

Nice... so you didn't run any type of OBA system components in your engine bay (like an inline filter, pressure regulator, etc.)? I am assuming not since this is pretty much "on demand" air and the compressor only puts out so much. Seen multiple threads where guys will take old AC units and convert them to OBA but build a pressure regulator system with piping and what not in the cab. Since I do not use my AC at all I was contemplating doing this with my truck. Plus I like the location of your air connection.

How quickly does the Q Industries air up your tires?

all I did was replaced the PS window regulator(did DS month while back) and did the A piller side of both front door window channels. Its now rattle free!

I do have all the other OEM W/S but the original has a lot of life still left, those front channels were falling down into the door. Oddly the new OEM ones are a good 3-4" longer than the originals

other than that just enjoying the benefits of many other weekends of work. I am now back to getting a solid 11.5mpg around town :)

and its back to being FUN to drive, I remember it being fun many years ago.

my list is very short of things it needs to be perfect.....

new bottom seat cushion
H55F
reseal the gutters.
clean up the leftovers from de-smog

Hauled the canoe to Brushy Creek in Bankhead National Forest, spent the day on the water, loaded canoe back on Cruiser.

Restarted my gutter re-seal project. I put it on hold during the winter due to the low temps in the garage (which I was worried would interfere with curing of the seam sealer and paint). Also started to tackle a small rust bubble under the side cargo window. Took a while to get that chrome trim off without tweaking. Now I just need to figure out how to get the glass out and see the potential rust horror under the gasket....

regulator, there is a part that gets out of round on the crank and it cause the window to bind, it was very obvious when I pulled it out. driverside took almost 2 hands, just replacing the regulator made it like new. the PS was OK but figured I had the other one. I used new OEM Toyota which were not cheap compared to the aftermarket ones.

Hey @Landpimp.....my driver's side is VERY hard to roll up. I'm worried I'm going to break the handle one day. Now that you have fresh eyes in there, what do you think it is that would make it so hard to roll up?

Right now I'm only using it to fill up tires depending on my future needs I have a small 2gal tank I could install and then I would put in the pressure switch and regulator it fill my 33's in about 2 min.

Enjoying the beautiful state of Colorado for the first part of my Spring Break. Then it will be time to meet up with some fellow cruiser heads at the LSLC roundup next weekend!

Tennessee Pass outside of Leadville,CO, probably the prettiest road i've been on and the 55-65mph top speeds were nice.

But first this happened north of Raton,NM. I got my doors blown off by an older gentleman in a super clean stock FJ60. Needless to say I have some future plans to make a stock clean 60 because despite the fact that I can still make it up the passes in 5th gear, logging miles on pricey 37's is not very fun..

I'm loving all the pics of red 60's lately...hadn't seen many but seems like there are quite a few out there!

Do all of your neighbors enjoy the hint of mustard color you've brought to everything in the neighborhood? ;)

How do you like the new BFG KO2's? Considering getting me a set. I like the look of the old KO's better on these old trucks but it sounds like they made some strides in performance on the new one.

Good enough. I've only had them on for a few thousand miles. Good points - they're round, black, and hold air :D. The size I'm running is 33x10.5x15 which really limits tire availability and the KO2s come in this size. I think it's a good general use tire. I know that when I hit real mud its limits will be quickly met but on the road, dirt, rock, sand, I'm pleased.

Couple of weekends ago I insured my 62 after a seemingly endless 8 months of having it parked for suspension repairs and winter. First order of business was to get it stuck- a quick reminder of how easily a 5000 lb SUV sinks in an early spring thaw ditch.
