Did you remove and paint or mask VERY VERY well?
Masked just about the entire rear. What little overspray I had just rubbed off with easily with a micro fiber towel.

Bought the wife a '15 4Runner Ltd, and took back the GX470 for my daily driver!

Yesterday I wrapped up a GX460 front brake conversion, new rear pads, flush/bleed, new upper control arms, oil change, and removed the ugly hood deflector! Once I confirm my front suspension rattle is resolved via the UCA's I'll get a fresh alignment. I'm donating my FJC 8-holes to the 4Runner, and I'll have the old FJC 6-spokes refinished and swap the rubber over to them. My plastidipped front grille has seen better days and will need a refresh, as well as the rear badges, and I'll likely do the chrome strip on the rear this time around as well.

Finished the ARB install. Used a short hose, on sale at TS, for the extension. Cabled it all up and tested it out. The pump is much of an improvement from their original model. Now I have the hose and chuck in the door panel should I need to air a buddy up. I thought I would need it to air the 255/75 spare up, but that fit in like a glove.

Now to find a tank placement...

do you have the intake on the pump or plumbed elsewhere? Also does it have a filter or did you improve that to another filter?

The filter is right behind the "ARB" circle next to the air hose connection. I did not use an intake extension as it seems others have not had an issue with the intake in this position. But time will tell.

I've had mine in a similar position on my 80 for about 8 years now, no issues.

Well, did a first test run and got a whole 9.3 KM and got the dash light up just before I got home.

P0430, C1201, C1223, C1256.

I’ve read so far could be; 02 sensor, dirty MAF sensor, loose gas cap.... have a list of the P codes but not the C codes, is there an easy list somewhere?

And here I thought I was close to done...

Don't remember codes but the xmas tree dash lights for me, days after my purchase, required a new gas cap. The seal goes bad over time, it's cheap/easy to see if that solves your problem. That's the only problem I've ever had....

Ditto. Po140 or some evap blahblah. I got a NAPA gas cap then I got the following codes. I guess it "fits" but maybe the pressure is wrong or something. So now, whenever I get the periodic code it's this suite of codes, whereas before with the factory gas cap it was just the one evap control blahblahblah (Po140, or something...)

little flex/stuff test to check bump stops...
contact, albeit barely, and that's with rear just starting to lose traction, not pushing the ATRAC at all.

Went for another drive after clearing the codes. First drive turned up nothing, second drive brought the lights back, but so far only the P0430.

I think the other codes (correct me if I’m wrong) may be because I did the rear brake lines, and probably had the pedal on the floor a bunch of times. (?)

Freeze frame readings now show that;

Bank 1 sensor 1 seems to match pretty close the readings that bank 2 sensor 1 is getting

Bank 2 sensor 2 seems to be quite a bit off in the readings that
Bank 1 sensor 2 is getting.

Since P0430 is bank 2, would seem logical that the odd one out is bank 2 sensor 2

Anyway, ordered upstream and downstream sensors, and a 22mm crows foot.

Found myself a CEL. Ultragauge going in tomorrow...

Went fishin...

For wire... and caught it!

Fished an accessory power wire up to the roof center console for a power outlet. Went up under the door seal, then across just forward of the grab handle, over top of the airbag, and under the sunroof track. For the last section (under the sunroof track) I had to bend a piece of TIG rod into a curve, with the hook on the end, and then pinch the end of the wire in the hook using Kelly clamps.

If you look way into the roof in the first pic below you can see the wire end pinched in the end of the TIG rod.

Then pulled the rod out and along came the wire!

Receiving the biggest springs on the planet for the rear of my GX tomorrow, plus a spacer. Time to get that big boot aux tank UP for good. Plus a full total chaos bushing refresh and a new uniball for the DS front.

Well, code P0051. Denso part # 234-4138 incoming...

Didn't take long for this GX to adjust to fleet behavior - as in: "...If any of the others receive undue attention, I'mma throw a fit...". We'd recently spent some $$ on the RX300 (rear brakes/tires/battery/CV axle). Apparently, that was enough...

Today? Went on first small desert run by our house in the Memory Maker (saw another truck on the site referred to as that and im stealing it for my family). Was surprising hard to find accessible trails even though I live on the edge of the desert in Phoenix....?!?! Guess we'll need to visit Sedona.

Plenty of trails here in AZ, welcome to the club!

Good luck finding space on the tails in Sedona between the Pink Jeeps...

I'm thinking you ought to check out Bulldog Canyon (you'll need a permit, it's free from the Forest Service, and has the gate codes), and we like to drive Forest Road 13, starting from Pobrecito - you can go all the way to Cottonwood Camp, or cut short up to 4 Peaks Road. And there's always 4 Peaks Road itself... by the way, Google maps has some of these designations marked the wrong way, so probably better to get the Forest Service map.

I have a buddy in PHX with a 5th gen runner that likes running trails. I get you some of his beta!
