Eek is right. I think we are up to 35k acres burning and still 0% contained.
It just started Saturday
37k a couple hours ago and still no trace of therancher from old flowers road that was trying to gethis cattle out

Yes. The fire has jumped and is coming down the front (E side) of the foothills in spots.

Good luck out there. We're wondering if we are going to get dispatched from Lake Tahoe for one of those fires. The forest does need to burn...but not at the expense of anyone's homes, lives, (or cruisers).

Heat index climbed past 107 today so I finally got my windows tinted --- I can't believe it actually helps. I almost didn't break a sweat.
