Had a blast last weekend flogging the Princess Pig around Central Oregon.

We checked out a few cool spots... Christmas Valley Dunes, Crack in the Ground, Lost Forest, Sand Rock, etc. Of course I neglected to work on the pig yet again, but its more fun to drive it! :)

As opposed as I am to cutting on a Pig, you did her right Rhino!

Pulled both transfer cases. Heli-coiled the range box. Tapped the adapter plate for 1/2 bolts. Apparently 350/auto torque is tough on case bolts. The reason the front output flange was hitting on the trans mount was the rear transfer case had pulled about a half inch away from the front one.

Slimed the three slow leaking bead locks yesterday. All three were holding air this morning. #4 needs more attention. I got it broken down today for welding on later in the week.

pighead tried to teach twrecks to wave, but the poor pig just didn't quite understand.

the winner of the wave was brian's sweet fj40

even more embarrassing....even this jeep could figure out how to wave.

the poor pig may have been a bit distraught after having an accident with his ps belt, to which pighead replied......

I thought that the whole point was to keep as many tires on the ground as often as possible.
I like that shot...find the SNT flag.

Just got back, from a 2 week trip out West. I had bought Georg's, 69 FJ55 and he offered to deliver it to Phoenix, where I picked it up, a week later, at Odie's house. We did a big loop, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, then home, Missouri.

After we picked up the 55, we stopped at American Toyota, and Cruiser Dan helped me load up the new H55, 5 speed.

Georg had left some goodies in the 55 for me, AA bellhousing and assorted clutch parts. Also his twin shifter kit for the transfer.

I would like to thank all three of these guys for going out of their way for me, if it wasn't for them, I couldn't have gotten any of this done. THANKS GUYS !!!

Now for the pictures, first two, A new pig on the farm and the last, a new 5 speed hiding in the box.

Any shots of how you mounted them in?

Put tow bar brackets on the front. Will test them out tomorrow :)

wish i knew you were coming through scrap, coulda met up for a visit.

congrats on the pig.

That would of been good, but only stayed long enough, to load up. We came down the 89A [ scenic route ], then back to Williams and the Grand Canyon. We'll be back, next time driving a 55

It will be hard to top a trip like that.

Yes Sir, right behind the 5.3 Vortec. The new 55, is going to be a parts truck for the green one in the shop. I should have all the little, hard to find parts, I will need now.
