Have I posted too many pics because I can't upload pics anymore

probably. There's a limit if you don't have a star, I think you can transload an unlimited amount though.

A stars only $25 though for a year. :meh:

You can link them here from another site or use an html tag (I think that is what it is called)

You host the picture at anyone of the free picture hosting sites and then when you type your message type:

and the picture will be inputed to the post.

Found this truck just sitting in someones yard. It runs just needed a clutch master cyc. Its a solid pig could be fixed up nice. Im gonna just hold on to it for parts right now. Not bad for $750. But the s u t conversion is ringing in my brain.

I do have a 12v 5.9 Cummins just sitting in my garage.

Nice! What year is it?

Oh, I vote for the Cummins swap. That is actually my first choice over the 360 swap I'm considering, I just don't have the Cummins lying around. You are already ahead of the game. Go for it!! :D

Put in my first parts order from Cdan.

I bought the last set of factory spark plug wires available in the USA for a 1976 FJ55.

Welcome to the land of unavailable parts! :grinpimp:

I pick the pig up on Friday and will be driving it home. :bounce: Wish me luck!

I was looking at that the other day it look like the rear axle is foward a few inches. I did move the front axle foward 2" I never chanced the rear location, but I was just reading a tread about 1/2 ton Chevy truck leaf springs on a mini. I'm thinking of sliding the rear back 2 or 3 inches. Its got 37" tires on it. I think it would put the tire more in the middle of the wheel weld

I would flex it out and see what happens. The rear wheels will swing back as the shackle moves. If there is a forklift around check it out, I would love to see how it moves. :-)

BTW I think that you got a great job on body work and paint for $2k! It looks great and I was quoted $7k for mine, thats why I spray painted it, but if I would have seen yours I might have changed my mind!

Scott I'm good friends with the owner of the body shop. I could get you a good deal, If your willing to bring it to houston! Im thinking if will flex well with the added weight of the dana 60's. I just need to find a good auto electric guy to wire it up

Htown,
X2 on the flex it before you do anything to that rear axle location. You will be surprised. Looks grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! I love your drip rail grab bars.
