Found this truck just sitting in someones yard. It runs just needed a clutch master cyc. Its a solid pig could be fixed up nice. Im gonna just hold on to it for parts right now. Not bad for $750. But the s u t conversion is ringing in my brain.
I do have a 12v 5.9 Cummins just sitting in my garage.
Nice! What year is it?
Pulled off alittle paper and pushed it out into the sun for a look see.
I was looking at that the other day it look like the rear axle is foward a few inches. I did move the front axle foward 2" I never chanced the rear location, but I was just reading a tread about 1/2 ton Chevy truck leaf springs on a mini. I'm thinking of sliding the rear back 2 or 3 inches. Its got 37" tires on it. I think it would put the tire more in the middle of the wheel weld
Put in my first parts order from Cdan.
I bought the last set of factory spark plug wires available in the USA for a 1976 FJ55.
Welcome to the land of unavailable parts!
I pick the pig up on Friday and will be driving it home.Wish me luck!
good luck, should be a great trip!
How far of a drive is it?
About 430 miles door to door....
