Got up, dusted her off, tried to start her. Adjusted the carb, then really did start her. Drove to meet the GA Cruisers for the Toys for Tots event, caravaned with 25 other wheelers to the Varsity in downtown Atlanta, watched someone else win a raffle truck, ate at the Varsity. Entertained another offer from someone to buy her. Drove her home.

Haven't done squat in a couple days. School has dug me a grave in the library. Where do you all get your square tubing from? The sheet metal shop I go to never really recommended any place. Is a fabrication place the best for that? I'm looking for 2x4 or 4x4 square tubing. Or perhaps round tubing for tube fenders.

We have a guy here in town that sells all sorts of steel, including the square stock. Ask around locally, maybe at a fab/mechanic shop and they should be able to tell you where to pick some up. HTH. :)

Took intake/exhaust manifold to a machine shop to have them spot faced only to realize as I was loading the sucker up at the house that the exhaust manifold was cracked.

Now I'm thinking about a pair of the Downey / Mark A headers...

Got the EZ Up out just in time...

 x infinity. Blown head gasket but may have crack in block (which I had sealed to no avail)--Will have to save $ for gaskets and hope for the best in '10.

And so it sits in the yard. Those of you with running pigs--remember to be thankful during this holiday season cause I am jealous of you!!! Merry Christmas everybody!!!

Well, I put a nice electric blanket around the battery and hopefully tomorrow after it is plugged in for a few hours it will crank over fast enough to start! The fact that it's 1 F or -17 C out and I have a warm climate battery isn't helping matters any.
