I pulled out my old tore up visors and pulled the mounting hardware off them and put it on the new visors from a '79 and mounted them up (my '76 had a 3 hole mounting system for the visor and the '79 had a 2 hole mounting system). Also recently put in a new rear seat, retractable seat belts in the rear for the boys, new door hinges and latches all around and ordered a new tailgate handle. next up is scrapping the ceiling and engine work. lol

i can FINALLY post here... because i braved the 40degree celcius (100F think) got out there...

I had to brave the -6 C yesterday. I think I'd rather be braving +40 C!

On the subject of visors, does anyone have ideas for fixing tears/cracks in the vinyl? I think mine are cracking because it's too damn cold!! The crack is all the way through but it doesn't really pull apart. I'm looking for a permanent solution and tape is not permanent 'cause it tends to get gooey or dry out. I'm thinking of some sort of glue along the crack or ???

Nick, can we see pics of the rear seat retractable belts?

I removed some barnacles from Daisy and touched up the clean areas with some POR15 Hardnose paint....

I may scrap the whole lift thing since Ming stated the 33x9.5's don't rub...good lookin' pig Ming!

Pulled back the wheelwell covers and found a nice little surprise. Pics later...got class now. ;)

Here you go TJ. Obviously the clip and the bottom of the belt are bolted beneath the seat. The retractor is mounted to the seat back mount. BTW that steel was WAY thicker than I had anticipated. :D

USM, those belts look fantastic. What did you take them from? That mod is on my list of thing s to do, as per the wife- and common sense.
