@LDRF …. “What about the interior dome light?”
—————————————————————————
Only if you want to see your interior after dark. If you don’t want to see it, then the factory bulbs are adequate. 😁

Hauled mulch for my wife's never ending projects. The people at the garden supply were shocked I could fit 2 yards of material in there. No problem!

Added some upholstery fabric to my lid cushions. The neoprene close-cell foam that I thought would work well as a simple glue-on pad did not like the summer heat and started to break-down, leaving a black dust on my white dog.

Preparations for our return to Europe have started . I scored a triple locked hzj74 a while ago with a 1HDTFT /H151 combo in it . Not sure what I will do with it at this moment but I rented a storage container where it can live in for a year or so . I also stumbled upon a full 40ft container with nos oem FJ75 parts that I bought . I already sold 2/3’s of it to a dealer but am storing the rest of it in that same container and I might even bring a few parts over as there are more gassers here then in Europe

@MistyGoat Planning on doing the same thing to my BJ74. The speaker pod/map pockets are super nice but $$$. My oem door panels are kinda cooked anyway so im just going to install the speakers like you did.

Question: i see you mounted yours a little rearward/middle of door compared to most that have them closer to the front. Do they sound pretty good in that spot? I was thinking about running them in that same spot since the door has a large cavity there and would not require any metal trimming.

Was gonna order door pods but I had everything else and was getting impatient :hillbilly:
Got the new door cards, sound deadening, and speakers in yesterday and wired up to amplifier. So far I'm super happy with how it turned out

The ocean has been a little too angry and wind too strong for my daily beach ride, so drove out to Little Kinnakeet Life Saving Station on the back side of the island.

Although they stayed out to sea, Hurricanes Humberto and Imelda have done a tremendous amount of damage here on the Outer Banks.

3D printed some covers for the square holes in the rear header of the troopy. I need to do it also for the front doors. Black or gray like the interior?

Also ordered the dome light for the back while working on the electrical hub and control panel. Inverter control, battery monitor, Espar hydronic diesel control, cabin thermostat and 5 switches for fridge, heater, fan, lights and compressor.

New fuel sending unit from @cruiseroutfit. I think I figured out why the old one wasn’t working haha.

Did you check your fuel pickup pipe when working on your recent fuel issue?
It's likely to look similar (inside and outside of the tank). No inspection hatch in the floor for thatone, though.
Apparently, your truck had been sitting with water contamination in the tank. I recommend to inspect the tank from inside while you are over it...
Cheers Ralf

Took the 75 out for its introduction to New England trails. Used the opportunity to dial in the suspension too! Dog was determined to come and help but like a typical lab, just likes to nap on her extended seat😆

Can any kind HZJ77 fellow owner show me up close what these garnish trim pieces look like fully installed (up close please)?

I didn't pay much attention to these garnish trim pieces prior to the campteq install. Trying to decide if I want to sem interior paint them grey and reinstall them back or not. Would require cutting a hole in the fabric if I did so I am not too sure.
