Old horse was quite down on power i.e no boost quick scout around reveled a wee barb broken off on the little vacuum valve that goes to the boost sensor. Ordered a new one stole one off the old 100 while it was in the mail and we’re back in business.

Measured 700 times and cut once. Turned out pretty good and everything lined up correctly. Very pleased and looking at building a custom air box in the future.

Has anyone had any experience putting raptor liner over sound deadening like dynamat or Kilmat? I want to put on my floors and then paint with raptor liner but am concerned about liner cracking with times

Finally moving forward on the body swap, roll over damage repair and LHD conversion. Repaired some slight damage to the front spring hangers and got the OME springs, flip kit and IMS shocks on. Now for the steering.

I’ve not used that, but used Rost-oleum professional undercoat under the carpet and helped with the sound level.

Did a little heat gun restoration on some rather rough interior plastic I grabbed from the salvage yard.

Quite far from perfect, but considering these had likely spent many years exposed to the heat, sun, and elements, and I am pleased with the results. One example below.

Final photo accentuates the remaining scratches; looks even better in person. Still very clearly not new from the factory, but not too shabby at all for a piece of plastic that has lived a very rough life, in my opinion.

Rapport liner over sound deadner doesn't make sense to me . I put some decent rust protection under the sound deadner.
My concern is: Sound deadner usually is somewhat flexible. I don't think the raptor liner is as flexible. It might crack.
Also, sound deadner is not giving an even surface. You'd always see the seams between the sheets. I don't think raptor liner can fill that. Might look terrible. My 5ct Cheers Ralf
