Got the rear hubs back on and axles installed.
Hub bearing preload was way high until I saw I had pinched the big oil/grease seal that's bolted to the axle housing.
Put the new LSPV and spring on too.

Funny Story: my best friend Emily is dating Cameron Falconer who has built Morgan Fletcher a number of bikes and is building me a single speed MTB as we speak…. Good chance I’ll disappear in the near future as well.

Probably lots of folks who’d be happy if I did….😂😂😂

Bikes are tight. Single speed bikes even more so.
Nice! Those falconer cycles look sweet. I’ve been learning to fab/tig weld while building 4130 front triangles for Scott Gambler rear ends for the last few years. Here are some photos.

Do you use a 2” hitch rack to transport your bikes?

Seeing welds like this continues to make me more and more impressed with the welds that Dissent puts on their products.

For Canadians. I just ordered these. Price is acceptable. These will work in quick release drills and magnetic hand
ratcheting Snap-On screwdriver. #3 long will be nice for mirror removals

Spent the week fishing, soaking in hot springs, and camping out of the HJ75. The temps fluctuated from 20º nights to 60º days. Glad we had the Webasto cabin heater! We didn't have the ol' Cruiser all summer as it was in the body shop getting new a-pillars, cowl, and inner/outer runners. Now we're going to be living out of it for this El Niño winter. No point in being at home in Santa Fe if it's not gonna snow and just be bitter cold and windy...

Replaced my window frame today as the original one was rusting in a few places…. Now I just gotta find a place to pull the old window ( without breaking it) and put it in the new frame and gasket….. without breaking!!!!

Why not just buy a new windshield too?

Dang !!!! Thanks guys !!!!

Your Toyota dealer will also install it. Mine did the install after I ordered a windshield and gasket from them. I think all in, windshield, gasket, and labor was $700 after tax.

New snow tires. Toyo Observe GSi-6 in 265/70R16.

I had the tire shop move one of my old Blizzaks to the spare tire, so my spare is also a winter tire. I still had tread on my old Blizzaks but they were from 2015 and the rubber was 8 years old.

I found it very hard to tell any difference between the various new winter tires (I loved my old Blizzaks but the Toyos were cheaper).
