Looks good!
I has run across my mind but i thought it wasn't possible.

It is very much possible. I will leave part numbers (that I used) here in case anyone wants to do it....getting new basic vinyl cards set up for a 77 series or 78 prado that has power windows or power locks. This is for grey vinyl color only.

I (very highly....) recommend going through Dave Stedman Japan4x4 because the door cards are otherwise difficult to get and ship properly. Dave was awesome.

List:

Finished up my latest project and had to take it out for a test drive.

The cardboard (masonite) backing on the original cards seemed to be pretty soft and flimsy, possibly with old age.
I painted the backs of my MGB door cards with POR15. It soaked in and stiffened the fiberboard. Waterproofed it too I guess.
The MGB may never get done but the door cards are ready.

Hello,

I applied paint wax. Sorry, no pictures.

It was more occupational therapy to cope with a tough time than anything else.

While I like patina, it may be time to plan for a paint job.

I washed my Cruiser today. Next thing to do with it would be replacing the front brakes completely. And I also have to fix some small rust spots which are caused by small rocks flying from tires.

Otherwise Cruiser has been my work car for foresty works. It's so nice drive sometimes over half kilometer forest machine tracks to a plot.

Added some lights to the ARB. IPF 900 LEDs (don’t mind the plastic, I stole the covers from my Tacoma and wanted to test the look vs amber covers) and a 24v sub-panel to provide power to them and my step down. It was getting a little busy on the high side positive post. If anyone has some IPF 900 stone guards laying around I am looking for a pair, I've decided they look a little more 80/90's than the plastic amber fog covers.

Someone really does hate shoes.
Yeah shoe’less @theglobb

I won’t spoil too much but he at least got to drive a 13bt bj74 and a 60 series with a 4bd1t plus check out @PabloCruise sweet rigs.
They stayed and ate pizza and I almost had them convinced to take some kittens home.

Good kids, my family had fun visiting. Maybe next year we can take them on some local outings. You guys are welcome anytime to stay.

Passed my emissions test, took two tries, had to unscrew my Max Fuel Screw until it was barely running, then turn it in a hair so it'd idle. Also wasn't up to temp on the first try. I ran it on the freeway prior to the second test.

55 ppm Opacity is the limit. Last year I got 34, this year I failed at 75 on the first try, then turned the fuel screw out and passed with a 43.

I installed a different turbo actuator in the past year and turned in my fuel screw a bit (too much I guess), I'll turn it back out again, but maybe not so much this time.

The test is every two years, so I'm good for a while.
