What wheel is that and it fits on a 75 without spacers? are those the tundra spares?
They are 17x6.5 and they fit on my FJ75 without spacers...

Or are yours 16” @c2dfj45 ?

Yes. 16". What are your wheels from? 17s might be nice for the current build....but I think I want to go with some Braids or Evo Corse wheels.

Mine are Toyota Prado spares... also Hilux spares I believe. Picked up a few sets in the UAE before heading back here.

I remember reading that in your thread....very cool setup.

The whole truck is a rust/bondo special out of the box.

They all are my friend however even the rustiest 7x in Europe that I have parted out never had any issues at that spot , you might want to look for any previous damage from an accident or some idiot putting a winch line or tow strap around it .

Just finished a 6000 km roadtrip in 6 days from Texas to California and back to drop off some parts and haul some new stuff back , thankfully I decided to install a Scheelmann seat already on the driver side. Awesome trip however on the way there I was towing 7500 pounds and the 1HZ without turbo was struggling in the mountains and mpg's dropped to around 13 , on highway 1 with an empty trailer (1100lb) I managed to get 20 mpg . Met up with a great cruiser buddy @orangefj45 and from there did the scenic Highway 1 which is still my favorite drive in the world . Picked up a HZJ79 cab and some other parts for the next build already.

New as in never used but moved around quite a bit so it has some scratches and dings unfortunately
So in other words it has "character". :)

This truck had a weird front frame extension so a plow could be installed and was used as a plow truck in the winter only. So, could be from the added weight of the plow over 30+ years.

I should have said "or some idiot putting a snow plow on it "

That's pretty damn cool. Today I moved my BJ74 out of the driveway....I'm doing some tree work at my own house for a change and have become fond of moving stuff out of striking distance.......After eyebaling it a few times, and licking my finger and gauguing the wind (not really) I dropped a 100' poplar right towards my house.....I had to aim it at my house because there was a Birch (prolly 3" diam) in the path that would have given me more room....Anyhow...My aim was true and the I missed reaching the house by ~6"....AND the birch was missed.....Rob and Treeginometry 1.... crappy old poplar 0......oh....My wife likes Birch trees....I still have 6 or 8 100 footers that I will have to coax in a diff. direction...I'll try to share some pics....

Cleaned up the useless PZJ70 plastic rear panels today the best I could. Thinking about deleting them altogether and use longer cargo cards in place for a bit extra room that these things rob of when they are in place. Just have to remove the welded in mounts if I go that route.
