Killer battery. I run one in my FJ40.

I run the everstart group 27 marine battery (mfg by johnson controls) from walmart. Fits into the stock 84-88 toyota tray, without any issue, and costs under $80. I have one which is 7 years old, and still works perfect. I was absolutally blown away this battery works as well as it does, as it replaced 6 dead optimas, a 1 dead odyssey.

dimensions are: 12 1/16" L X 6 13/16" W X 8 7/8" T

I just run whatever the book at walmart says to run. No extra drains on my electrical as if now so no need for a battery that could power the big apple.

That said my truck came with a "hocker" battery. Was so heavy I had trouble lifting it. Said it was a mil-group battery or something like that on the label.

i am currently looking at what to put on the drivers side havent seen many pics but you do have to relocate the afm and air box...
one work around i have seen is add a cold air intake and run it on the passenger side back toward the firewall

they had a group 34 where the stock air box was cant seem to find the pic atm

Yup, thats what I got now.... So I have the driver side available....

do you have any pictures availble?

what did you have to do to the afm harness lengthen the wires or just re route it

Added a longer piece and ran it on the back and around.... So far, I like it.
