anyone have a link to screw in retainer? mine are dancing around the floorwell

might also try velcro idea in earlier post

Has anyone come up with a surefire way to keep em in place?

You can't keep them in place. They slide all over and rip carpet with cheap hooks. Bad

Thanks Doucher! I'll be sure to visit your website for all my cruiser needs!

Dislike. I acutally found Duiser's response to your post to be completely appropriate. MUD isn't here to hold your hand for everything. In the time it took you to write your two posts you could have found your answer on Weathertechs website.

My mats have been in for a couple of weeks now and they do slide a little but nothing major. Certainly not enough to bother me. It's a personal thing though. I stick with my original recommendation of checking out a friends set before you order. I might try Luke's solution in the next week though.

I've had mine in for over 2 months now and haven't had any issues with them moving or the screw pulling out.

After I had first bought them and thought that slipping might be an issue I had considered painting a rubberized coat or adding some bed liner to the underside of them to give them more friction against the carpet. I'll do this if they do start to move on me in the future. So far I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone over the other options currently available.

Just checked and they are now offering 2nd row digital liners in grey! Might have to pick a set up, along with the cargo liner.

Is the tan color still way off?

Yes. They're pretty light beige compared to the brownish carpet and trim panels, just like Luke111's pic, above. I think they look fine, though. And you don't really need to screw the down or go to the trouble buying clips--they might move ~1/2" when you first slide in the rig, but then you don't notice while driving.

Trying to swallow the $ 125. for 2 mats.

My girlfriend bought these as a Christmas gift. I have a set for my tundra and absolutely love them but wasn't going to dish out the money for them for the land cruiser.

Speaking with my tundra mats, they're a fantastic set of mats. The carpet honestly looks great underneath and that's because of the mats.

I put the auger anchors in for my 80 because of the reviews of them slipping. So far so good. . I think they're a tighter fit with less ability to move than what's in my tundra.

They're going to be awesome for snow and especially mud.

wow they look real good.
I am having parts of my rig repainted next week. Bought a used hood and repainting the same tail gate, and installing some brandy new white knuckle Sliders. So whats another $ hundred....I know.

I got mine for Christmas. Installed with the "Dodge hook", tan. They don't move and I think the color looks great installed.

Mine dont have that problem. Pools nicely where you think it should. If it is nowhere close to the shape of the floor perhaps you ordered the wrong model. Seriously, to say it isnt close is perhaps a stretch?

Since everyone is on the fence on these guys, I'll post up a 3 month review. I took the truck out last weekend and it was pretty sloppy out there. The weathertech floormats did a great job of containing. I think this application is hard to beat with the carpet hooks they provide.
