Side note for everyone. The 4runner driveshafts I bought, only the rear works. Apparently, there is multiple flanges on the front output. The shafts I got are 60x60 squared, but my front output flange on the tcase is a 60x68.

transmission mount is almost done. should have that wrapped up tomorrow. but lift shows up tomorrow, I hate not finishing one thing and then more parts show up. also buying some nice billet parts from australia just because apparently I care about aesthetics. definitely not because I am getting all the bits for 1/5th the cost of new and they are all unopened. its definitely because I care how it looks.

SO i get 4 flat u bolt plates. 2 spring perches for the 3" axle tubing. They have not emailed me back after my last inquiry. So far customer service is lacking. We will see how we progress.

What do you mean “IF you squint your eyes’? I thought that was always the way to view work being done!
Thats how I was doing the welding and cutting anyway, safety squints were on. But then I opened my eyes and realized I didnt have enough flap disks and grinding disks to make it pretty. But hey aint gotta be pretty if it holds lol

Secondary to that. I came into work to find a second box waiting - and this one has stickers!

They also said if you get the 10 degree caster the cut and turn is no longer necessary which saves me a boat load of headache

So I use Zip for stuff- but you need like a total with tax and all that for the one time use card. And I clicked to see what the total was. And accidentally ordered this FLIPPING THING and im furious. Price is.good but i REALLY didnt need this yet.....

You can flip that plate, which is what I did to tip the pinion upwards. Its not attached to anything. I have it tacked on here while i grind the fitment because the fitment is ass at best. The rock is where the perch is flat otherwise its tipped down.
