I would buy a cargo mat as well...black (12/77).
I've had a very hard time finding the rear window decal "TOYOTA" in Black with a white center. It goes at bottom of the up hinged rear window on my 1970 FJ40. I found a shop that is making some for me. I thought I'll sell or give away to those who are missing that decal.
Can also add OEM PCV hose and OEM carb throttle return spring.......................
I'm a buyer for the cargo mat. How much and when do you think they will be available? I am still hoping for a matching front mat. I bet you could pre-sell 100 of them with $100 up front deposit to capitalize the production costs. I think there is real energy behind a "good" factory correct mat. Add some dynamat or other heat/sound shield and $500-600 would be reasonable. perhaps even more. Keep us posted on the "cooking for a while..." let's move the mats to the front burner and build them, please.

I was over at @ginmtb 's place this morning trial fitting it in his truck. It looks like a fit so it's going to stay there to get dirty.
Of course the stepping layer is not built yet, but there are a couple of approaches I'm evaluating. More about that later...

Roger,that front and cargo mat looks exactly like my CCOT Aussie mat...Also the trim is the same...Do you use similar material?Your front mat looks just slightly longer under driver seat which is better.Also yours is better fit over trans.hump,too.Are you gonna use any insulation under it?

Yup Aussie material; however, there are several suppliers so it may or may not be the same as yours. This is still an interim version, and the trim will go away. I tried a different material previously but didn't like the finish. Not trying to give CCOT a plug, but they're right that Aussie mats are the best.
Insulation won't come with the mat. but it is readily obtainable from a number of sources for around $30.
Looking forward to buying front mats and rear cargo. Please keep up the great work and keep us posted on your SWAG for production. Thank you!
I have an original front matt in my truck that isn't in bad shape (relatively speaking) but would like to keep it that way ... long way of saying I'm in for the report when they become available ... good work, Racer ...

Eventually on I'll just make this part "open source", by putting the design file on Google Drive. Anyone with access to equipment can print their own.
