Been using an Eastwood hand crank bead roller for a while. Just added this Mitler Bros 36" adjustable bead to the shop.

I spent way too much time checking this setup out at the local harbor freight. Never been a huge fan of their boxes. Their Icon series is a huge step up from.the reviews ive seen. All ready penciling in this setup for the shop build I'll be doing next year or the following (dependant on interest rates)

I don't think it's big enough.

I bought these in Sept 2020, not an issue to date. They are used every day M-F and often weekends.

I like big things lolz

I like the a series 2 stuff more than the series 3. Mainly price, and already have too many of them to change now.

There are far too many horror stories Bout their harbor freight credit card. They make the rooms to go financial plans seem like they are great............

Id say if you were going to use a card, id get a new one with a traditional financial institution that will do 0% for rhe first 18 months, and pay that off in under that time.

They still had some of the series 3 stuff in another isle. The Icon branded chests are fairly knew

I picked these up a while back when I saw them. Great ergonomics for the job. In one of the photos in the last post you can see whe

re the fender lip has been rolled from about 10 to 11 o clock .

Compared to the tools that others have shared here, I am in the cheap row seats but it can still be a fun show on occasion.

I picked up a tubing beader for small ID tubes. It came with three dies (3/8", 1/2" and 5/8"). I have only had the opportunity to bead some 3/8" steel tubing so far. I found it easy to use and the results are what I needed when I ordered this beader.

Never knew one existed either… I asked about it in my Holley Sniper install and was pointed to Graham… not something I’d use too often however..BUT, I’d love to have one

Very capable tool, but I have to admit feeling rather foolish in buying it.
~$250 for a beader that I will probably have limited use for.
To help with this consideration, I have made sure that my local friends with nice shops know that I have this beader for small diameter tubing. My hope is that they will be borrowing it for their occasional projects, so it will be money reasonably well spent.

Hope springs eternal? lol

Wish they made one for 5/16 line. We have been using a bubble flare brake line tool.

Understand. I made some test specimens using my brake flaring tool. Then test installed the specimens with 3/8 inch hose and clamps. I found the resulting connections difficult to work with and marginal overall, so I was concerned I would have issues later. Purchasing the beading tool was the step I needed to make.

Good luck with your 5/16 line applications.

I went back and checked. There is a model with dies for 1/4 and 5/16 tubes available.

I purchased a similar kit years ago. It was used but in almost perfect shape…had been in service at Piedmont Airlines.
