I friend of mine has been working on this truck for a long time and decided he just didn't have the time to finish it and brought it to me to complete. This will be a long term build.

What I've got
1964lv
Installed already is a 3.4 v-6 4Runner motor with 70k on it
A TRD supercharger ready to be installed
4 runner 5 speed
Marlin case and 1 piece land cruiser tcase
Has Paul Pilgram floor boards
Sprung over suspension
Custom Dakota Digital gauge cluster. This is an all digital model with blue led numbers.

To do list is long
Custom interior including center console, bucket seats and door panels.
Tying in the 4 runner harness to use the original switches.
Bring the body back to original.
A/C
Power Windows
Custom lighting
I'm sure the list will grow.

Not too shabby condition either
Bit weird having a 4 runner in there imo... But I guess it's what they had!
Future plans for this build? Light 4wd? Heavy?

AWESOME! looking forward to this build. While not a cruiser motor that little 3.4 with with a super charger and tunning will put out some serious power and will run for ever

Going back to the original two tone paint scheme?

Damn you..

Looks good. The 4 Runner donk is different. Had a mate with a TRD blown 3.4 in a 2007 Hi-Lux. That thing went. Can you do the electric window mod first so I can copy?

I have been running a non SC 3.4 in one of my 45s for a couple years. 4.88 gears and 37" tires. She pulls the hills in Oregon and California just fine. Get up and go in traffic is not an issue.

I'm excited to finally finish the project. The truck is in good hands. Pic of the custom beadlocks she will have.

I believe this was the 1st Dakota digital dash done on a Land cruise! Sorry no build thread on the engine. All this stuff was done long ago. I will post more pics from the beginning.

Few updates. Got the motor cleaned, painted and SC sitting on top for the time being. This should give you a pretty good indication to how the whole truck will look when done. No corners cut.

Looks great. What did you use to clean the aluminum?
Bead blasted them. You just have to make sure it's completely sealed. Lots of duct tape.

Nice rig
