Lot of chatter here.

I said a few pages back that the company that bought my designs were a NON-USA company. I was building bumpers through a robotics company for this company for about 18 months. Proprietary designs for 60/70/80 series bumpers and shipping them overseas at 20-50 units at a time. I found out a couple of days ago, that company sold to another overseas company and is the reason they had to buy my designs was in order to release everything to the company that they were being bought by..... long way around to make a deal happen.

I honestly don't know who they sold to, nor do I care. I was told that the purchase was for the 60/70/80 series products and not my 200 designs. So I doubt the GEN 1 front and GEN 1 and GEN 2 rear bumper will more than likely never be seen again.

ALSO, my new 200 GEN 2 front bumper (2016- current) is still 100% mine. It was built and designed after the closing of the deal and therefore was NOT part of the sale.

Interesting. So everything you design from now on is fair game? Or any 70 series stuff? Or if so, I see Troopy bumpers in my future then. If I can ever get this damn 200 sold.

By the agreement I can NOT make a new production bumper for 12 months. I CAN make custom one off bumpers again, but the customer must bring the sketch/design for me to build. Basically they are trying to keep any similarities in the old designs OUT of my new work for next 12 months.

Yes, I can build and "counsel" you for the design of the troopy designs when you're ready.

@dc916cruiser @indycole came up to work on rigs today. Installed D's rear and Cole got a little further along on getting his rig the way he wants it for near trips.

Little BBQ and fine dining on a welding table. GOOD TIMES!

Thanks again Jason, it was great meeting you and today was a blast. The fine dining was the icing on the cake!

A little more detail for the 200 guys as you are the only ones to benefit here....

The GEN 2 front was NEVER part of the deal, its mine to do with as I wish.

The GEN 1 front was part of the deal. My buyers; buyer is not interested in the GEN 1 front as they feel it doesn't serve their demographic. I made 2 other items (for other series for them) in the past that they are interested in as well now. I have a bartering chip and want to get the most bang for it.

The rear bumper is gone, no chance of seeing that one again...

My offer as of this afternoon was that they release the 200 GEN 1 front back to me and lift my 12 month non-compete just on it and the GEN 2 front for the two items they want. My buyer said its acceptable for them, but now just waiting on their buyer to agree. They have 24 hours to accept or counter. It's 5:30AM there right now so they are on the clock.

Sounds very Dubai-ish, that time diff.
So you still need a model to mod the Gen 2 for LX fitment, right?

It would be in a one-off custom capacity only, nothing for production. A LX model bumper would be against the agreement and cannot be a reproducible product for 12 months. I can make ONE, but can't make a second until 12 months later. And you have a GEN 1 LX not a GEN 2.

What happened to the hidden winch mount front? Did that ever materialize?

The 2016- current model is designed. It's about 7 pages back now. I have a HWM headed out this week to a 2013 customer to test fit and report back any fitment issues and will get the earlier model set.

****GEN 1 AND GEN 2 FRONT BUMPERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ORDER AT ANYTIME****

After negotiations these were released back to me and the 12 month non-compete was lifted on these two bumpers.

The rear is gone so I will refer customers to SLEE for that product moving forward.

Thanks guys,

Jason

Can you DM me pricing for the Gen 1 shipped to Phoenix?

@DPA200 I've got 5 285/75/17 toyo ATII with varying tread depth. Make you a hell of a deal if you want to give them a try.
Sorry just saw this. Hmmmmm, interested, but broke. What all modifications would you say I’d need? I just got my Tough Dog 2” lift recently, but I’m still on stock UCA’s. Would I definitely need SPC or other new UCA’s to rock that size? Pretty much blew my wad the past couple months with lift and sliders I think I need to lay low for a little bit to avoid wife problems. You don’t have any interest in the 5 stock Toyota 18’s from my 200 do you?

@DPA200, I sold my 5 18" wheels for about $500 on craigslist. If you don't plan on keeping them to run snow tires (unlikely in Phoenix) you should be able to get $500-600 for the set.

yeah no snow tires needed for this area, and nobody in the family is big on winter sports either. Must be something that isn't a match here in Phoenix. I've had them up for sale on Mud, Craigslist, and OfferUp started at $600 for the set of 5.....now I'm down at $350 and still no offers. Had them listed going on 4 months now. You think Ebay is the better route for these? I was hoping not to have to ship them (as i don't know how to ship them).
