Cool beans. Have you shipped any yet and seen a clean fitment.

I guess the only changes between year models are cameras, sensors, (that keep multiplying) and maybe the lights.
So any problems we might run into while installing is maybe punching an extra hole or cutting for lighting ???
I'm not well versed on the difference in years. My 2014 looks the same to me as a 2008.....but I haven't counted holes or measured lights.

Anyway....sounds good that you made some "El coin" from a design. :)
Now if I knew how to remove the double post I would......
Jim

I have only shipped 1 front and 2 rears. I hope to start seeing some install pics back soon. One is a MUD guy and the other isn't. Yours will be identical to Tony's pictured earlier on. Gen 1 and Gen 2 of course are different. Sensors, angles, covers, lights... but the frame ends and mounting are identical.

As far as the double post if you need to revise; below your post there are EDIT, DELETE, REPORT, BOOKMARK

Lol! I should have figured it was possible.

Seriously beautiful work! I even dig the look of the brushed steel. I wish there was a way to keep that look too! Everything from the attention to the curves on the grill and then again on the fenders. Pretty amazing!

I like the bare steel look also....

Someone asked for a distance side shot of the Gen 2 bumper. If my math is correct it is 1.625" further out than the stock bumper. I could have made it the same as the OEM dims but with a couple of guys wanting a bull bar.... I had to get some depth to add the bars.

All orders are cut, bent, tacked and /or welded out in various stages currently. Busy morning on the table.

About 170 bends and these will be ready for production.

Someone has fast tracked my mod process in the parking lot. I have a 2018 TLC. Hoping for a double gerry can, spare tire and ladder on a swing.

Can you post pics of your (if you have any) your rear bumpers and cost. If you prefer not to post prices and such, please pm me.

I looked on the website but could not find any, that's probably on me.

You're the first to request a ladder. I can make one where the jerry cans are removable from the ladder. Similar to this that I use on the earlier series bumpers I build. I'd want to make it from plate instead of tube to blend/flow with the style.

I don't keep any bumpers on the website for sale anymore. It's proven to complicated with all the little additions, light models, etc..

Pricing varies depending on wants and needs. I'll PM you for more details.

All,

After this week of bumper inquiries and orders I am NO LONGER accepting any further BUMPER orders. I have 2 people that I have been talking with for a bit of time and will still allow them to order (if before 5-30-18) but that's it.

Thank you all for your continued support on the bumpers for the past 5 years. Look forward to working with you all on other cruiser items I will be developing moving forward.

Thank you,

Jason

@reevesci !!!! CONGRATS on the company sale!

WTF... Geez I hope it's not Trail Gear...

Who is it hurting?? Slee of course. Think about it. This thread has made a lot of noise the last year.

I like Slee and trail tailor a lot. I don’t think this has really impacted Slee, they have been so busy with a shop addition and furthermore every 200 rear bumper they make, goes on a 200. They haven’t been able to keep up with demand.
Slee gets a TON of business as maintenance and building rigs.

Of course, Congrats to Jason! And i am excited to see his future projects!

Where are you guys locating the 7 pin plug on/under this bumper?

@indycole wanted a set of rear shock guards if time allowed. Since I was out almost all last week I got to draw a bit... had time while waiting for one of my bumpers to cool before pulling it out of the jig.

A customer sent me a set of the ICON guards for a 100 series and we just started laughing when we went to install them and never went through with it. Most that install these end up with shock damage.

I'll get this test fit to see what needs to be changed. Since the Tough Dog shocks are a 2.8" main body with a 3.25" out cover I made them fit the largest shock I had.

Gen 2 front base was welded out today. I'll get it mounted back up tomorrow and get the bullbar bent and welded tomorrow and sent to powder for @indycole

@dc916cruiser is headed up this weekend for a rear install and some BBQ at Trail Tailor. I think Cole is headed up to do some work on his new drawers, so if anyone else is around... BBQ will be around noon on Saturday. Let me know if you wish to swing by.

I may have missed this somewhere in the many pages but were there any pics of that 2016+ hidden winch plate install with the bumper back on?

Hmmm... Who do I think bought this design from Jason?

Eenie-meanie-minie-mo...
Where’s this bumper gonna go?

CBI?
VPR?
MetalTech?

Bets? :)
