Hi Guys,

It's my time to contribute to our beloved and most visited forum.

Found a place locally here for this project and I am wondering if I have to take on a replica project for "Toyota Gas Can Carrier" How many of us would be interested in it. (Numbers will help me big time to negotiate a great deal)

Carrier would be made in NZ.

Cheers.;)

Archie Who?

Post up a picture again for those of us that forget what these look like. ;)

One for me, to go with the parts pile for the "future resto".

Probably two for me since I now have branched out into the FJ40s. I decided to try all the advantages of the pre 64 FJ40s:rolleyes:

I might want one too.

I would be interested in a carrier

I'v seen pictures of FJ45LV with gas cans mounted between the fenders and the windshield on the cowl Is this the correct location ?

Dose any body have a picture OEM gas can mounted on a 25 or Early 40 ?

Location Lefts side or right ?

Dose It block the kick vent ?

The Gas can mounting straps would not be hard to duplicate I could obtain all materials locally, or are the straps available from Toyota ?

I would be up for one gas can carrier.

Thanks Joe C
