Who decides which idiots are to be punched?
What happens if one that decides thinks another that decides is an idiot?

Watching a referee end an otherwise amazing basketball season...

Middle school boys got beat. Not by the better team, But by playing 5 on 7. Those odds are not fair in any capacity.

All the slow drivers are probably trying to keep under the radar because they don’t have a license or insurance

Any resolution?
Yeah, guess I forgot to report back.
Found abandoned a few block away with very little damage. As the adjuster said, probably snagged to move some meth and then just left.

Either way, don’t care. Just glad to have her back.

Employers who do not share information in a timely manner, withhold pertinent information that would impact your decision to work for them under restraining legal contracts, and just plain jack-assery. Employers who use the term “Just trust me, it will work out in your best interest.” Only to find out the employers definition of in my best interest referred to their best interest. Employers who act in a condescending manner and do not expect to be smacked in the mouth. Employers who act as though people doing a particular job for decades don’t know how to do said job because that’s not how his daddy did it.

Legal Disclaimer: These statements in no way currently reflect my new franchise owner or his CFO or said franchise owners spouse. Legally, I am not making derogatory statements about the above mentioned individuals. No person in the above statement, real or otherwise, is in any way an individual or groups of individuals I currently or previously worked for. All similarities are merely coincidence and should not be taken as real. In fact, I made the whole thing up. Really, I was asleep the entire time. In all actuality, someone hacked my account and wrote these insensitive words. The nerve of some people, really?

In the last 5 days I've gotten fraud alert calls from a bank for 3 cards associated with 3 accounts that have been closed (as in "please close and cancel this account and send me a check for the balance") for over 2 years. Each time, I ask how that's possible and I'm told that the account is still open but it hasn't been used in 2 years. Each time, I'm told I'll be transferred to someone in the proper department to inquire further. Each time, that next person eventually answers and disconnects within 3 seconds before I even get a chance to say my name.

March must be "fraud and scammers month" because yesterday a family member told me that they handled "some very important business" on their own. They opened an "IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT YOUR..." piece of mail and saw that it said "4th Notice, we request that you call us"...so they did. $500 and a monthly $90 plan later, I'm trying to get this resolved but not being the person who placed the call they're giving me so many hoops to jump through in order to make me go away. Next call is to the bank to dispute the charges.

I looked up an old buddy I grew up with tonight and found his obituary. He died of Covid in Nov 2021 at age 61.

Don't wait, reach out and touch those you have been thinking about.

Sorry about the above bummer. I pulled out the year book last night and looked up my old friend. Christ we were kids, thought we had the word by the tail. In a lot of ways, we did. Saw a lot of faces I thought I would be close with all my life. I came to the same conclusion that Buckaroo Banzai did so long ago.

"No matter where you go, there you are"

Oh thats easy. all of them. There is SO MUCH low hanging idiot fruit to keep you busy for years.

maybe it takes a group of 2 or 3 to decide...becuase the idiots are usually pissing more than 1 person off at a time...... then the punishment can be dealt.

-The dangerous guy in the beat up car with 1 tail light, no brake lights, and a blank (stolen) 30 day tag, drving 10 mph down a street on his phone
-the selfish moron who has 3 pit mix dogs locked up in his back yard 24/7 that incessently bark
-the waste of space that stops in the street to talk to someone
-the kid blasting mexican carninval music so loud your home windows rattle
-the overpaid clueless DOT employee that installed stoplights on timers that turn red and green for no reason at all, totally screwing with traffic
-the moron that sits on a piece of gym equipment, while on the phone, not working out
-the waste of space that waits to the last second to merge into an exit lane, slams on brakes, and slows traffic for miles

and this was just after work today....its crazy, its easy to point out, we all complain about it, and yet nothing is ever done. (this is my rant)

I experience exactly none of the above where I live.
Perhaps you require a change of geography that might suit your life requirements.
I do not live in or near a city for a reason and I own enough land around me to at least keep them at bay till I'm gone.

What about people that litter or litter by “mistake” when it blows out of the bed of their pickup truck? Unbelievable this is still even a thing. The fines should through roof with no exceptions. Right up there with people smoking by building entrances.

I was able to hack @Comet's account. Who wants to be next...? Stay on my good side.
when his password is literally password, how hard could it be????? ;)

Intended or not, I think you may have hit a nail on the head with that statement. By virtue of your geographic location and the requirements to live there, people are a bit more self-reliant. Learning to be so teaches thought processes and risk/consequence evaluation which becomes fairly ingrained into daily behavior. When help is needed, it comes from friends and family...prompting consideration of actions and avoiding relationship "infractions". The ability to access any and all services nearly instantly simply in exchange for $$$, and anonymity within dense populations doesn't produce these reinforcers as readily. The percentage of people that are absolutely clueless have no social or environmental controls in place to extinguish the behavior...and that's how we end up with a "rant" thread.

I love this post!!!

I will also add that I feel there is a parallel with government entitlements. Just about 2 generations ago, very few were on government assistance. People turned, largely, to family, church, and community for assistance during down times. There's far more incentive to work back towards self reliance in those scenarios, than a faceless check from Uncle Sam. I'm all for helping people in need, and we're so far removed from the above, I doubt it will ever revert to that type of society. Some will agree, some will disagree - and I'm totally fine with that. But, your post just really reminds me of my thoughts on this change.

Aside from the social aspects mentioned above, there is also a lot of this going on:

Before you aggressively brake check someone at 80 mph, please take a few seconds to look around, ask yourself a few questions, like 'am I in the correct lane?' 'is traffic passing me?' 'am I prepared to instigate a complete stranger with no idea what the outcome may be?' and 'what am I trying to prove?'

Before proving to the world how much of a douche you are.

Thanks!
