Would a gallon of Monstaliner be enough to line the area as shown in this photo?

Send Magnetman a PM. He's the Monstaliner rep.

Or just read this thread! Your answer is in post #12!

Jose,

Youre truck is awesome. Looks pretty badazz.

Keep 'em coming! Also include if you rolled or sprayed please. I want to remove the body panels, but leave the flares, on my LX450 & would really appreciate a photo of that done & monsterlined.

Does anyone have a pic of an 80 lined only from the body line UP? I have a 97 LX that I want to keep the flares and cladding on but has a the notorious clear coat issue on the hood and top of the front fenders and then the common rust spots under the back glass. It is black with the grey flares/cladding so I was thinking black for the body line up but would want it to turn out with a little "shine" and relatively smooth like the Monstaliner and Al's Liner seems to look like when it is sprayed on.
Thanks ahead of time if anyone has one.

E.

I'm curious about pics on just the LX450 cladding and flares myself. My paint is pretty good, but the flares and cladding need some freshening.

The PREDATOR, with Monstaliner Predator Green. White primer base coat really makes the green POP.

i've seen other rigs in those colors on a google search, there was a cherokee and a 4runner done in desert sand and they both looked good. never seen an 80 though

I plan to do the Desert Sand possibly on my LX. Got a lot to get done before I deal with the body again though.

I was able to do that with one gallon of Al's using the hopper to spray it on. It was barely enough. I wish the rig still looked like that. Here's how she sits today:

I didn't do the mirrors in Monstaliner - I wanted them black so I hit them with Herculuner I think??? Whatever you buy @ Vatozone.

I'll take some door handle close ups when the lighting is better.

Good thread idea :) Just finished painting the last bits and pieces from the rear bumper so finally have some real pics to share.

Monstaliner, 2 gallons, rolled on, San Panties color

Awesome!!! It looks fantastic man! Congrats... I'm looking forward to do mine now :)

TTT for more pic's!

How hard is this stuff to remove? I am thinking of doing my roof in white. If i dont like it and then decide to paint it. How tough is it to get this off?

I believe it's somewhere between impossible and really damn hard.
