Will this fit inside the stove?
We lit up @JohnVee 's NOS Army lantern this weekend. What a sight! Brand new out of the box from 1975 and she lit right up. Parts and wrench well is incredible, also love how the tank cap and funnel are attached to the lantern with chains. The glass is actually 4 individual pieces of curved glass and the hat nut is riveted into the hat so it can't get lost! Love those little innovations and wish we could get them on the civilian lanterns!

I love the roar they give while burning, and how bright they are. It's hard to believe these were made for the military.

Here are a couple I had running awhile back.
Saw this at a small store in town. Owner found it at his inlaws. He knew nothing about it. It was in original case with all accessories and manuals. doesn't look like it was ever used. I just thought it was cool and wanted to share.

The potential markets were missionaries and rural communities
that lacked electric power, according to a 1949 Coleman News.
These undated lanterns are in Dick Sellers', left, and Shirley Willard's, right, collections.
The Charles Beseler Co. also made a similar projector for this lantern.
Go get that thing. It's highly unusual and cool, especially if unfired.

Hey guys, just scored this at my local flea market for 15 dollars. It's a 425 e but can't tell if the red can is stock. It doesn't look like others on Google. Under the tabs it says 978. Is this not the stock one?
