Well, this was my initial FJ40's start this morning, so I parked it. It is the 2nd time my Sniper 2300 has shown this screen, which is followed by a horrible running engine.

I have reached out for help.

A little better pic....

Maybe there is condensation in the exhaust downpipe? What does slow mean?

I'm not sure what 'SLOW' means. When it happened a few weeks ago, I searched the Holley forum but only found 1 mention of it. That thread didn't provide any solution, but did mention about the ECM and/or WBO2 sensor. I emailed Holley about it, but never heard back. I changed the WBO2 sensor, and it seem to fix the problem, until this morning. At 10AM I emailed Holley again about the issue. This time I received a return email stating they would call me today. I'll follow up once I hear back.

Holley called and will be sending out another unit on Monday. :)

I'll take the old 2300 off tonight and prep for return. Then I'll clean up the top part of the engine over the weekend. :hillbilly:

So what’s the issue?

Or do they need to see the unit to determine that?

Yep, said they don't do on-site repairs. So I'll send the old one back. Matter of fact, I happen to have kept the original Holley Sniper box at my office.

Searched your thread and found which speakers you used and how you mounted them. Short of reading thru the whole thread do you have any feedback on the speakers and the clamps that mount to the rollbar?

The roll bar clamps do their intended job. I've since moved the speakers to the rear corners and omitted the Bose brackets.

I'm in the process of making a few rear wiring harness's. My specific harness will have the speaker wire as well as a 5 to 4 pin trailer harness wired in.

that's a wicked kool OEM inspired Late model update idea Rick 🙂

will you be using the rear quarter panel area wheel well thru hole grommet locations , the Two
YAZAKI 82471-90300 side marker lamps sub harnesses are fed thru , for the speaker sub harness sections also ?

or

will the
82471-90300 Side marker Lamps sub Harness now carry the Speaker Wires along its route sealed up tight as well in tandem ,
then branch off once thru both

The new speaker wires will come thru in the same holes & grommet as the side marker lamps. I'll sleeve the speaker wire just like the sub harness, from the main harness up into the cab.

Had same issue. Reading through Sniper threads pointed to O2 sensor failure.
I disabled closed loop until I can find a solution other than another sensor replacement.

Ok, Sniper #2 installed. It took less than an hour to install, then it fired up and I was taking a test drive.

Nice to be back in my 40.....Oh, I did clean up the top of the motor some. That Colorado dust is everywhere, but it's character.

Hey Rick, I've followed your build from the beginning, but I don't remember things as good as I used to lol, so I'm gonna ask...what do you have on the top of your carburetor to mate up to your factory air cleaner? Is that a home made adaptor? Yours has always been one of my favorite builds, awesome work and details!

Yes, there is a spacer above the carb to mate to the OEM air cleaner. It came with the kit from @FJ60Cam

Follow-up on the new Sniper. About 3 weeks in, a couple tanks of gas and a few hundred miles, not a single stall! (knock-on-wood) I've been driving it every day.

DANG IT! A year after my new OEM radiator install, I'm starting to get crystallization in the corners of my radiator again. I can only surmise this is from a slight crack at the upper and lower tank seams.....Any suggestions as to how to remedy this?

Note: For reference, here is one corner of the old radiator and the other corner was a lot worse. Hence the new OEM replacement last year.
