My father is looking to sell his Fj60 we have owned for 15 years, He is believed to be the 3rd owner. The story goes owned by a rancher in MT to get back and forth from town, then owned locally here by a elementary school principal who my dad bought it from. My Dad has cleaned the truck up to what it is today. Has always been stored indoors. The truck drives very tight. As close as I can imagine it drove off the showroom floor. Everything works, no issues. Frame and axles have never been coated. What you see is what you get. The sides of the truck were professionally painted with the original color. No rust repair or panels were replaced. The roof was not painted. The truck has a Trollhole carb and headers for smog legal states. This Cruiser will not disappoint the next owner. Message with questions or serious offers. $47K

Lol. Of course not. OP thinks this is BAT.
I appreciate the peanut gallery for the current bearing on the Land Cruiser market. I am aware that most the people on this forum would not buy a 60 for this price. I am also not that person. I buy Cruisers that are projects and I am not scared to use.

On the other hand this Cruiser has not been restored with low miles. They’re a very very low percentage of 60s on the road that are in this condition anymore. There are buyers out there for a Cruiser like this. If you’re not the buyer move on.

My Father has a number in his head he’s willing to let it go for. Will he get that? Who knows. Unfortunately it’s not anyone else’s choice on what the price is set at.

Mercia!

I get it.
Well, good on you for helping out. Honestly, you should post it on BAT, but I suspect it will potentially still go for 10K less.

Good luck with the sell. It is a beautiful truck.

Very nice example of an original low mileage 60. Great job with the pictures as well. Like you, I focus on projects (it's what's in my blood) but have a strong appreciation for examples like your dads truck. It may be helpful to post any pictures pre-paint. I believe this truck will sell for this price or close to it. May not be on MUD but keep plugging it on other sites and with some exposure the right buyer will come along. GLWTS.
