Well I completely forgot to make a post on this because you know, life. Anyways the 4R served its purpose of hauling all the jitter juice for all you folks. But she’s gone and living in Dallas now because of my recent acquisition of an 80!
Being Kin to Casey (@POTATO LAUNCHER) and the son of Tim (@BombCity) it would be blasphemy not to be in a cruiser.
Huge thanks to Rory from @RocketCityCrzrs for making me bite the bullet on this truck too.
Now you can all get great coffee from two youngsters in their first cruiser.
Thank you Dad, Casey, Rory, everyone else involved within SAS, most importantly my grandfather Bob “Pop”. I’d kill to be able to show him this I know he’s smiling down on all of us.
97 LX450

Clean as a whistle.

Another big thanks to @Spurlock, you should keep your eyes on this thread man!
Awesome! I saw that you put up your 4runner on FB and thought, "he's definitely trading up to a cruiser". Sweet ride, congrats!

That was one of those meant-to-be moments, son. I told you when the time was right the truck would find you. Super clean truck and a great buy. Couldn’t be happier for you and Kait! You did really well on the purchase!

Had an absolute blast on the trip this year!
@kitkatk80ty and I are already wishing we were back! Had tons of fun wheeling with @raisinhell2 @TrailBornRunner @William839 @Broski @sogncab @fjdiesel @DangerNoodle @Muddy Feet @SHELLBACK @80sgirl and a few others!

Truly one of the best trips we have ever taken!

That’s awesome! Congratulations

SAS7 crowd I’ve ended up with an extra OEM Fuel Tank for our ‘96 80 series . It’s very clean inside and out . If anyone is in need $300 plus shipping . Message me if you need additional info or you can call me .
John
Someone needs to jump on this. great price and great seller

Much appreciated! Here are a few fun facts: 1998, 3x locked, 3x low range gears (Nitro 4.88s and low center diff gear kit), Icon 2.5 suspension, OME heavy rear springs, Dobinsons UCAs, 35" Falken M/Ts, 2x air conditioners, heated leather seats, cruise control, PEZ dispenser.
what wheel is that though?

I’m sure everyone is photo and video’d out from the post trip share but I dropped some good cinematic video from the dash on YouTube. If there’s any clips you want I have the individual ones. For some reason the graphics are better if you go to YT and not view through here.

Wouldn’t happen to have the fill tube? My tank is okay (🤞🏽), but my fill tube looks like Swiss cheese. I am too ashamed to even post a picture of the janky fix. Suffice to say, it involves the spare radiator hoses and clamps I carry around in the 62. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Jus seeing your question, my fill tube was junk also , you can get a new still from Toyota

Hmmm. Should've bought a bigger trailer.

Who's got a good idea to make this work without me having to buy a 30' hydraulic beaver?

Take the swing outs off the 40 and put them in the mini. May need to extend the arms that hold the ramps up 🤷‍♂️

Not quite High end but it should work 😂

Or maybe just reverse the order and put the pickup on first.

I was thinking it was a weight issue putting the 40 on first.
