Perhaps the incline caused the float to close thus restricting fuel? My first time doing fenceline at Katemcy rocks I was stalling trying to charge up a steep incline. My spotter who knows whats up told me to rev the engine a few times to top off the bowl before giving it the beans. Did the trick. Maybe something to consider? Might need to run a higher idle or rev it a couple times when on the incline
Somebody had thought of that and told me the same thing - that very well could be. I was trying the revving trick and it was not filling the bowl, however. Still kind of a mystery.

Casey was having a similar issue on the way to Ouray this year. It reared its head on a steep uphill on Medano Pass. We stopped in Gunnison and he installed an in-line electric fuel pump. Problem solved. Runs like a striped ape now.
I think I’m going to try and come back next year. Wife suggested we come for a few days and then head to Utah for the second half. Hope to see y’all next year.

So a quick update from SAS 7.5…Ben @BigHighBlue and I flew up here Saturday to retrieve his truck from Montrose. We’ve been sleeping here at the KOA and doing trails everyday. Heading back to TX on Wednesday. What’s so weird is the KOA and the trails have half the volume they did 2 weeks ago. Must have to do with kids going back to school. Some random shots over the last few days.

And now for something completely different!! Slow day at the shop waiting on parts . Used the free time to clip Teddys nails . He was pissed but nothing some brisket didn't fix.
Welcome to Precision Land Cruisers and dog grooming hahaha
Seeing all these pics and seeing this place through other's eyes...it makes me feel like even though I'm aware of where I am, I might be taking some of it for granted. Looks like people had a blast, even wrenching back at camp looks fun and full of camaraderie.

No leaving his nails so long its painful is. Vet wanted to sedate him or do the same. They just have a sling instead of a fan belt. I guess if you fork out 150 bucks its ok ?

Poor Tink .. Teddy bit the vet the minute she touched his nail with the clipper tool and nipped me . He wasn't having it. I think with some time and enough brisket Ill get him over it hahaha
