Hey all - I was pretty bummed that I missed the registration for SAS5 earlier, but I figured what the hell, if people are cool with it, I'd love to roll into Ouray with my 75 and check out other rigs in person.

Some of you might already know me on Insta

Would be great to hang out and meet other folks 🤘🏼

Wish I could join you but maybe next year... I have an HJ61

I've had to pull my name from the waitlist... quite bummed that a work project has totally messed up my August. Truck is ready this year, but no dice.
Anyway, once I was on the waitlist I snagged a KOA site. I have site number 29 which is part of the area reserved for the SAS crowd. Shoot me a PM if you'd like to assume the site from me and I'll work with the KOA folks on transferring it to you.

Last call on this... if I don't have any takers by Wednesday this week I'll be canceling my reservation with KOA.

Thanks,
Joel

Looks like I’m working on brakes next.

Howdy folks! :bounce2:

Hope everyone is at a great place and time in their lives! Speaking of great times, SAS4 was a blast for me and I would like to have some input for the article I am writing for Toyota Trails to have it published by aug. before SAS5 for all of our reading enjoyment. The rough draft is done although I want to add quotes from other peoples experience along with some snap shots of rigs and friendly smiling faces (as well as intense focused stares). @cruisermatt @Manitou Decline @rhah @John McVicker @Jason hansen to name a few respectively. If you want to PM me with brief recovery, carnage, getting by with a little help from friends, or just good times stories or "quotes" from SAS4 that would be cool, and any pics published will get photo credit in our great Toyota Trails magazine, Which I encourage all to subscribe to if you are not already. See you on the trails, and please, go prepared.

Thanks Cruiser Head Community :steer:

Definitely have some great photos of what won me the Carnage award :D
EDIT, wait, was that me or @Manitou Decline , can’t remember now
I definitely broke a bunch of parts though.

Also a pic of the Iron Butt banner on the Bridge at Rubicon Springs :D

I think Casey awarded you the shock of destruction.

I’m going to try and steer clear of the carnage crowd this year.

A goal we can all strive for! Wise man once told me...drive like hell, you'll get there! Let's all stay safe this year.
