No difference in someone posting a write up and someone posting up a YouTube video. Keep on keeping on.
Only recommendation is maybe start a thread and keep updating it when you have a new video to share. Sort of like a build thread.
Im no moderator but I’d say keep on posting your videos I find them entertaining and funny, your always gonna get some haters. I’m always down to watch a McFluffa struggle, it may help someone 🤣. I hate watched the first video and now I watch all...
What about changing your titles for future videos. Something like, "Latest YouTube vid: There’s a wrong way to bleed brakes…"
That way, anyone who isn't interested can scroll right past, but you're still getting exposure to the intended audience.
Turns out, with enough effort, you can turn an easy job like bleeding the brakes into replacing all the calipers. Also giving away a cool piece Solvefunction made up for me, so that’s neat.
I just recently started a rebuilt 1FZ, from a 94. I don’t know the shop that build it, but I’m seeing some issues in quality… I am running the “break in” oil right now, but I can shoot a quick video next to the plan if you’d like?
These are the three I can clearly get a photo of. Apparently the “rebuilder” was not concerned about the plugs being flushed. From what I can tell, all three are inserted past the block edge on the top, and the bottom has a protruding lip from...

Solid feedback man. I usually jump straight to the worst case scenario, but I’ve been poking around the freeze plugs, (the two seeping) and it appears to be install error. Again, I bought the 80 with a “fresh” rebuilt engine, and this is the...
Clean that area off well, add a dye into the cooling system, run the engine or pressurize the cooling system and watch where the dye appears and hope the block isn't cracked at ~ the 6 O'clock position of the freeze plug hole boss. And/or drain...
Ya think? Ask the other 5,000 people on MUD who have known me for the past 25 years. 🤣🤣
I live in a 10-digit world. I am the robot—As I am sure you have posited.
Rad solution. I support new ideas and new technologies and new positions on...
Gang I just got my 1994 FZJ80 started up for the first time. This is a cruiser I purchased with a “rebuilt” engine, but I haven’t gotten it to run until today. At the end of my video, there’s some seepage from the freeze plugs… Watch the whole...
Replaced a leaky water pump…coolant (green prestone) clean no contamination…intercooler piping clean as can be even while seeing 9 psi of boost in floridas heat…happy
Did a lot of last minute road trip prep. Hastiest ever stereo install. Ken woodhead unit pioneer speakers and $100 Amazon powered sub. Seat jackers are great for subspace. Fits great. Slap the whole thing in in a couple hours could have done...
