How many leaf springs does your rear axle have?

There is an eight-leaf option and a 10-leaf option. For the latter, 200+ lb are necessary.

I have Dobinsons with all of the overload springs removed. MRR shocks.

They still need weight back there for pleasure

Again, my numbers were for stock suspension. Aftermarket is a different animal.

Zero movement but overbuilt and easy to repair. It may be good for the unpaved roads and conflict zones the 70 Series ar usually used in, but not for other applications.

Unless you’re going overland Ozzy style, you could probably take two more leaves out of that pack.

Your only solution with oem set is to be a true contractor. Before shipping this truck to you, I had the chance to load it with tiles or a project and dang this still has some little stiffness.

All I really try to remember is 80 is 50 and 120 is 75. If you really want to reference more then just stick one of these somewhere convenient.

Have you looked into changing the speedo face to MPH?

Just remember 6x. Take 1/10 the speed in kph, and multiply by 6. So, 6x 50 kph is about 30mph, 6x 80 kph is about 48mph (call it 50), 6x 100 kph is about 60 mph, 6x 120 kph is about 72 mph, and you probably won't need to know anything above that. Easy once you get the hang of it, and close enough to keep you out of trouble.

If a 75 was my main 70 series driver I would figure out how to add about 500# of weight to it under the bed, behind the axle. Maybe make a box between the frame and Stuff it full of sacks of lead shot.

I pulled my cluster out of the Saudi 45 to install a Dakota Digital. So I have this available if it helps someone.

It had been raining for days, so the mulch was soaking wet. Pickup rode like a Cadillac.

I am between major projects so I'm going to prep this 75 for sale.

Lockwood had the underside full of Florida so I got it up in the rack and got it back to Saudi clean

I always wanted to polish this thing out when I was working on it for the original owner but he loved the original from Saudi look. I find it a bit dull so I'm giving this thing a deep polish to see if this 33 year old paint will do.
