If a 75 was my main 70 series driver I would figure out how to add about 500# of weight to it under the bed, behind the axle. Maybe make a box between the frame and Stuff it full of sacks of lead shot.

Great truck for someone who has been looking for one. Not going to find a better truck from an honest Cruiser Head…Great job Nolan…someone will be very very happy.
 
Just wanted to chime in to let the collective know I’m the new owner of this FZJ75. Thanks to @wngrog for the fantastic build. I’ll be updating this thread with my continuation of this vehicles journey. First off will be dialing in the dampers (shocks) and doing some testing on Vermont’s finest class IV highways over the coming weeks. I’ll also do an install of a Midland GMRS radio. I’ve started modeling some storage concepts for the bed which I’ll post once I have these in a state to share. Stay tuned….
