Update

My pig came home yesterday, Lance who owns and runs IPOR trailered it to my place.
The new fuel pump is quiet and the truck runs great, before they installed the pump the tank was flush twice and a couple of magnets were drop in to collect any small particles that may have found ther way in the tank.
Tonight I sanded and painted the grill and head light rims with Silver Hammertone.

pig porn at its finest:D ..........thanks for sharing your grill pix; Lou, BTW did you get your headliner insulation installed with the glued in pins?

Lou

Not yet, I'll do that when I repaint the pig, I don't want to remove the windows just to install insulation. Which may happen soon, looking for some cheap labor to strip and prep the truck for paint.

Next up is sound and heat insulation of the firewall and floor area using Dynamat and Second Skin products and I have about 15 feet of the black vinyl mat that looks woven that will go on top.

Great info!, thanks; was wondering about the pins as the website said they are supposed to be placed against unpainted:eek:surfaces?? then how does one keep the "unpainted" metal from rusting:confused:, heck, if i sand then I have to do something to the metal cause in 48 hours it will rust in this area:crybaby:

yep, looked at the peel and stick ones sounded great but if you had bad experience with them.........will have to look at the super glue stuff.......thanks again :)

Pig Porn

Its a fricking wet and rainy day in Va and can't work on my pig due to no garage. I'm taking the doors off this week and installing rebuilt hinges, window felt and reset the glass in the regulators.
I know you guy's like pictures, so I thought I would post some.

Lou, thanks for sharing............that is one lovely piggy.....the engine compartment is awesome:clap:and that is coming from me who loves a straight six:D

Thanks Lou, I'm really happy with the Ram Jet, my original plan was to keep the six, it was clean ran well and now powers a local FJ40, but living in the DC area you have to drive some distances to get away. This little piggy rocks down the highway, keeping up with traffic is never an issue.

Stockton Wheels

I just ordered wheels from Stockton, Powder coated white 10x15 . He's going to cut centers from Land Cruiser rims with tabs for my hub caps. Going back to a stock looking rim but run 33x12.5. I'm selling my Dick Cepek with the Mickey Thomson MTZ for $625.00 33x12.5 , 200 miles. I'll list in the wheel section. The picture is not what I'm getting but similar, minus the chome ring.

Sweet Jesus!

Don' sound like there is a need of kleenex...maybe a hymnal after his conversion, a hand brace where he just punched the wall, an ambulance for his passed out prostrate body or a cot near his 55 for the next year while he gets up to speed?

That thing is really an inspiration. Or maybe I'll just go bang mine up on some rocks now so i have an excuse.
