Lou,
Who did you use to do the rear seat recover? Did Ironpig do the work or did you have to drop off the seat elsewhere? I am hoping to find someone to do the same. Did it take a long time or can it done relatively fast?

By the way, I have to say that your build is amazing! I recently read it from start to finish. Great looking project. I am sure you are tired of hearing that, but great job!

Rear Seat

A local company, Coachcraft in Frederickburg Va did the rear seat and the door panels. The vinyl matches the front seat vinyl, I think Ryan also ordered the same vinyl to match the front seats. Coachcraft also tried to match the front seat stitch pattern.

Lou,
I love that rear seat match. Did it take a long time or could it possibly be done in a week or two? I would like to contact them for a quote but don't want to waste their time if they can't do it fast. I am hoping to go get Ryans as soon as the fuel injectors are rebuilt and Ironpig had had a few hours to check it out.

Lou,
More pics?
I have no 55 yet, so I have to live through yours.
More finish pics?

also on the SOR door weatherstripping that were hard to close...

did you try adjusting the hinges and strikers any?

project sure looks great

thanks

Tank

I'll try and get pictures today if I'm home before dark . I have not adjusted the hinges or door striker yet because the plan is to remove the doors, clean them up, reset the glass, replace felt add weather strip and install rebuilt hinges and most likely replace the SOR stuff with somthing else, I'm not happy with the way it sits

Gas Tank

Here are the pics of the tank installed, it appears there is a small leak
from the sending unit seal so that will be resolved when we drop the tank, its not dripping on the ground so its not that big of deal. You guy's might wonder about my rear shocks, they are Monroe Air Shocks, they are really nice for load leveling and ride great. I don't wheel my truck, dirt roads and easy trails, so most of my driving is around town. On Monroe site they have the 55 listed and they ran about $70 bucks.

Lou,

That is a sweet setup, what kind of mpg's are you getting with the RamJet?

MPG's

Thats a really good question, I have no idea, and until I get the right fuel pump it won't be accurate. It's a great engine and easy to wire up, my only complaint is it naturally runs rich and you can't remap the computer. So at idle you get the gas smell but over all its great.
