Which regulators did you use? I’m assuming you didn’t dig up some bones and find some OEM ones.
Ended up sourcing from Kurt. Couldn’t afford to waste any more time on used ones that might be in the same shape.

Usually my first stop for everything as well .

Looking great! Still would like one of the steering colors that you had made. Thanks. Jim

@FJ40Jim / @Coolerman
For bench testing theses old Wiper motors, a few questions.

Here is my understanding :
The solid blue gets +12V from the battery
To get high you ground the blue/red
To get low you ground the blue / black
You can run a ground to the motor Chassis just in case

I have tried this on two seperate motors and neither worked. I think the odds that 2 motors not working were low, but I guess it can happen.
Yes, the motor is always hot with ignition on. The switch grounds one wire for low speed motor winding, a different wire for high speed winding. Color codes vary a bit through the years.
Yes, the motor case has to be grounded for the park switch to ground the motor winding until it reaches the park position.

Bench tested and working(after a little detour caused by a proud screw head).

Thanks @mrboatman you saved the day. Ready to be installed soon. View attachment 3217552
Beautiful, right down to the switch cover.
Props for using genuine Toyota screwdriver on the lash adjuster screw!

BTW, The lash adjuster locknut is loose in this pic.

Thanks, Jim, it is loose. I’ll post when it’s finally installed.

In addition to being on its second set of tires, the ‘72 is now on its second battery. Doors are wrapped up ( @rkymtnflyfisher ) . The transfer shift lever had a weird bend in it so that got replaced as well.
