Ended up sourcing from Kurt. Couldn’t afford to waste any more time on used ones that might be in the same shape.Which regulators did you use? I’m assuming you didn’t dig up some bones and find some OEM ones.

Usually my first stop for everything as well .Ended up sourcing from Kurt. Couldn’t afford to waste any more time on used ones that might be in the same shape.
There are a small handful of mud vendors that I’ll use and recommend with no hesitation. Cruiser Outfitters is on that list.Usually my first stop for everything as well .
Yes, the motor is always hot with ignition on. The switch grounds one wire for low speed motor winding, a different wire for high speed winding. Color codes vary a bit through the years.@FJ40Jim / @Coolerman
For bench testing theses old Wiper motors, a few questions.
Here is my understanding :
The solid blue gets +12V from the battery
To get high you ground the blue/red
To get low you ground the blue / black
You can run a ground to the motor Chassis just in case
I have tried this on two seperate motors and neither worked. I think the odds that 2 motors not working were low, but I guess it can happen.
Do you have another black covert for the wiper motor? Been looking for 1 for a while now. Thanks. JimBench tested and working(after a little detour caused by a proud screw head).
Thanks @mrboatman you saved the day. Ready to be installed soon. View attachment 3217552
