i just wanted to share that my oldest son Dylan just finished his 6 month deployment with the USS Ronald Regan and is back in Japan. He said it was non stop on the flight deck averaging 2400 Hours in 6 months. I am very proud of him!

Another cool Hagerty Article

I had a missed phone call, about ten years ago, that caused me to miss out on a Vincent Comet motorcycle. Pic shown is not actual bike.

The guy that got it, was, and still is, undeserving!

Yes, I'm still bitter!

Thank him for his service. Good stuff.

My dad lived on a bird farm for 3 six month deployments, Sixth Fleet, Mediterranean in 67-68-69. Two on USS Saratoga, one on USS Independence.

Happy Thanksgiving to the friends I’ve met through the club- and to the guys I haven’t met yet here’s to future wheeling trips - Cheers!

I like them too, this was especially entertaining.

The stop motion animation always reminds of the 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and Jason and the Argonauts, films from the early 60's.

Did you just happen to just stumble upon it, or have you known where it's been?

I was wondering this same thing - like...did you forget where you parked it? Just walked out into the back yard and said “oh yeah I remember that thing, that’s where I left it!”

Can’t remember if I ever told the story and I’ll try to keep it short. I had that truck for almost 15 yrs and towards the end was barely driving it due to work and life. My best friend came into misfortune and needed help so I titled it over to him as he attempted to restart his life in NC. Fast forward a year or so and I find out that he snapped one day after work during a gas station altercation and attempted to run over a guy w/ the truck (actually broke the guys leg). The 4Runner was impounded, my friend ended up going to jail for 36 months and I assumed the rig was gone until I got a call yesterday. At some point it was released while he was in prison and his new wife parked it. Their DD needs major repairs so the 4Runner has been resurrected from the grave. It’s a shame it’s just been sitting for probably the past 4/5 years and disheartening to see the condition.
