Looking to buy some Adirondack chairs. I’m hoping I might save some money buying local Amish made furniture. Any recommendations for places to shop?

I live in Chester County and figured I’d be shopping in Lancaster, Berks, or Lebanon Counties .

As they say, a thing has been done.
I swore at this years breakfast by the end of this year I would have my own trailer.
Finally, last Wednesday I headed up to Carlisle to best choice trailers and picked this baby up.
Hopefully this acquisition translates into more wheeling trips!

Congratulations! Just be careful, trailers can turn into a slippery slope of picking up new toys....

I got signed up with OnX offroad as a Trail Guide to map out more trails in Pennsylvania. If anyone knows of any trails (that are legal to wheel) that should be added let me know and I'll work on getting them submitted.
I also received a discount code anyone can use to get 30% off if anyone wanted to use the app.

Saturday storms knocked out the power here. It's not expected on until Thursday night. Destroyed my neighborhood. I was fortunate and no property damage.

Wow, looks like you got some serious wind for it to rip siding off and drop trees like that. Glad you’re ok, let us know if there’s anything you need.

We also got a lot of thunderstorms and rain, some local flooding but so far so good……..

My snap peas were casualties of the storm 🤬 - my neighbors lost a shutter. Otherwise no major casualties here.

snapped.
I see what you did there, but no, they actually just got ripped out of the ground - which is sort of nuts given they were in there like a food deep. The mat of pea vines just became a giant sail. My tomatoes in pots did similar, but were saved by the cages.

I lost power for about 24 hours Saturday to Sunday. They had been saying until Tuesday evening, so I give kudos to PPL. There are still people in the area without power, though.

My house and my parents' only had branches and leaves down. A couple doors down from me a limb came down and crushed their friend's car - basically a brand new RAV4. The rear hatch and moonroof were pretty much trashed as well as some other rear damage. I spent Saturday evening helping them cut the limb up to get it off the car and clear their driveway so they could get out.

In better news, the 4014 Big Boy came across the Rockville Bridge yesterday afternoon...

I got to see him from Jim Thorpe to Pittston. He is a seriously impressive machine.
