Yes, illuminated latching push button. When on, the ring around the button glows orange. That’s a cool lamp. Is it a push button, to turn it on?

Those are beautifulAlways wanted to try one of those knife kits that I see at Woodcraft/Rockler, where you buy the steel ready for handles (scales) to be installed. Decided to give the cheeze knife kit a try, for some Christmas gifts. Pretty happy how they came out, especially since this is my first time doing this.

Woods left -> right are Bloodwood, curly hard maple (2), Brazilian rosewood, Morado, and Black Walnut
Finish is also something I thought I'd try: CA adhesive (Superglue). You quickly wipe on a couple of thin coats, then sand back to wood with 800-grit. Then I applied 6 more thin coats (it dries in seconds), and sanded with 800, 1000, and 3000 grit paper. Then a quick buff with a cotton wheel.

Green seems to be the color palette in your garage.

Wow, that's really cool!Just finished this "little" project today. Saw this on the YouTubes a few months ago, always wanted to try it. This is a birthday present for a friend, he really loves American flags.

This started out as a 2x12 that I found at my favorite local lumber yard (Eldredge Lumber in Portsmouth). Fun, interesting project, lots more work than I expected, but that's OK. At the end I really didn't want to wimp out and paint on the stars, and I hated the stars routed out with a Dremel, so I sharpened up my new Narex chisels and got to work.

I want to try one of those some day. I need to get the courage up to mix up that much $$$ epoxy at one time.Thank you. It does, pretty funny. It’s from an estimated 300 year old oak that fell over.
