Really? You'd prefer a 1HD-T over a 1HD-FT?

I thought the only difference between the 1HD-T and the 1HD-FT was the addition of 2 valves per cylinder, but the 1HD-FTE then added the electronics.
Use IFS calipers. I seem to recall 1990-1995 mini-truck are the same. Some of the 4Runners are different, but I have no experience with them.
V6 IFS calipers.
I said I needed it for a 93 v6 4wd hilux and it worked wonderfully. I didn't have to do any grinding as I have Sunraysia rims from Australia and they clear well. Get the pads for then too as they are larger than stock cruiser.irbrito said:Thanks, thats what I will order then. Still need to borrow/ rent a knuckle alignment tool, I would be happy to leave a deposit.

No deposit needed.
I've got it in Colorado right now, but I'll send it back down south in about a week...

This probably wouldn't have interested you but the guys in the 80 section found out a way to engage the e-locker using an air cylinder. Pretty neat trick I thought: https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/708474-elocker-air-conversion-thread.html
Since OBA is nice to have for wheeling, this is a nice addition and very simple too.
I used the FZJ80 harness that goes from the locker to the frame. As I recall, the harness was long enough to reach from my front locker to the dash. From there I used a DPDT switch ... no relays, resistors, or any of that fancy stuff. I don't think there is any reason to over analyze this.
