I should have some time in 3 weekends. Gotta get some honey-dos done next weekend (omg I am turning into Marc)

It's a good thing I pay attention when I read posts. I almost missed this little dig.

:deadhorse: Maybe the horse will wake up?

I think everyone just wants to see the day where he drives HIS hundy home with a few extra inches of height and some Km2s or MTRs that are a little bit taller than 31, and comes to the realization that his sweet little wife will not devour him alive. Then and and only then would the horse be at peace.

Touché! The newer LCs are so huge that 285/65s or (33's) look like training wheels. I guess you really need some 35s or bigger for a lift.

Agreed.

Is it wrong that I sit around for months wishing death to locked FZJ80's? Well it payed off, as I scored another rear 4.11 locked 3rd member on Ebay for $450 shipped. It should be in this week, and was promised under threat of negative feedback to have a good actuator. I still need another locked locked FZJ80 to die, or I guess I could pony up the $650 for a new locker actuator, for the front diff. Someone here said that 80s are for old men and sissies, my opinions are not that strong. I just think they had some awesome stock parts, and am glad they are backwards compatible with the cruisers of the golden age.

I really need to get the scope creep under control, or this truck will never get finished. It is kind of pathetic that this truck ran when I bought it five years ago, and is now in a million pieces, and is years away form wheeling. Granted, it was burdened doing 50 mph, and took about 20 pumps of the middle peddle to get it back to 0.

I will have a completely finished FF, E-locked, disc break, Daker/Bilstien suspended, rear axle in a week or so. My goal was to have a pristine rolling chassis by the end of the year, but with another little boy due anytime in December it may be by the end of the spring. I really think I will make the spring, there really is not much more scope creep left out there. Oh wait there is longfields, toy box, H55... MUST RESIST.

Be strong, be strong....MUST RESIST.....

That's pure porn right there, i don't care who you are.

Looks good! Are those the Kevlar MTR's?

no, they are GY Wrangler Duratracs, GY's version of the BFG AT. The Kevlar MTRs are more analogous to the BFG Mud Terrain KM2s

Maybe you and I have been married to our Sheilas too long, but I have to agree with you... Damned sexy-especially with the white letters in.

Is there any other way? Lettering on tires just looks so....jeepish......

Even in these pics, I can see those beautiful chemically blackened bolts holding the spindles on. Very nice! The E-locker just completes the package!

I thought that was Mexico? Or maybe that's just because those cars always have chihuahua plates.

Only if it was 2UZFE. But I already have too much invested in the 3FE, so that ship has sailed.
