@Von Hayek, Has Juck been syphoning your gas again?
Heh I ended up finding my pblaster and soaked the seam and then getting an extension for my socket and using one of the clamp style oil filter removersI see the sledgehammer in the back. You just needed a bigger hammer.
Cross posting because I messed up a simple brake thing again...wtf...I swear I’m not a toddler

Real time help needed - rear brake caliper
forum.ih8mud.com
Did you check the slides for caliper if they were greased and moving freely? I had a similar issue on the Avalon when I did the brakes and couldn't get it to not feel like there was contact. Ended up just being those sliding pins or whatever they are that needed greasing as well.Thinking I need to do a better job compressing the piston and open the bleeder valve and/or reservoir cap

Does anyone know if I should try to keep the plastic guard that goes from the bumper to the skid plate? It wont bolt to the new skid plate but it can be attached at the bumper and I can just trim off the tabs? Will it keep mud out of the radiator or otherwise be of value? Circled in red...Front RCI skid installed... pretty easy. Down the line adding other RCI skids. My factory skids are pretty mangled- even worn through in a couple spots. The gas tank skid is especially bad. The RCI skids look really solid but I may want to upgrade the hardware at some point... I also found this vacant “parking” area owned by a neighbor in the alley behind my place to do the work. Hoping I can rent it and clear it for wrenching. Gonna leave him a note and see what happens

Just played around with it and decided to leave it off because it ends up hanging down and will get caught on stuff when backing up on a trail- looks like it would get hooked and rip the bumper off. Ill run without it for now.I’d trim it and leave it for the splash guard aspect
