Hello Guys, my name is Amadeus and I live in Brazil, here I have a Bandeirante, like a fj40 with some diferents things. My Toy is equipped with 32x11,5 maxxis bighorn tires and "high" shackles. The motor original is a mercedes diesel!

Congratulations to the great forum!

Sorry for the mistakes!

Great looking rig!

wish I had a mercedes diesel in mine...:crybaby:

Don't worry about mistakes. We're just glad you're here!

Some pics from camping this past weekend. Some guy in a ranger was jumping his poor little truck off the top of the large hill in background while we were there. He asked us if we wanted to ride along and we respectfully declined. I'm pretty sure he was drunk. He must have hit it 8-10 times catching about 4-5 ft of air at the top. Needless to say his truck didn't sound right as he was leaving.

Brazilian FJ40 (aka Toyota Bandeirante in Brazil)

Hello Friends,

this is my first post and I´m glad to be part of this great Land Cruiser Forum.

Here follows some pics of my Cruiser, its used to be my DD for 8 years...now my DD is a Toyota 4Runner Diesel. And my beloved "Band"(Bandeirante) goes out the garage only for special moments like these(enjoy the videos):

I hope you guys like it!

Ps.: Next time I´ll post some pics of it clean, in fact I´ll try to do special ones

Best regards,

Guida..nice band..you just need lockers n good to go...im just watch your videos,,,love that engine sounds..congrats and welcome to MUD

Hey Friends, thanks for the friendly welcome!

I love that diesel sound also...but a V8 screaming is amazing!!!

Eshu Elegua, I'm already saving some $ for lockers...they're crucial for a god off-road performance...but very expensive in here. A ARB locker is my dream, but really expensive due to higher Brazilian import taxes. We have some good national lockers options and I hope I got it until november! Thanks for watching the movie!

vk7ybi - Those tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Mud 33"s retreaded by 3K Tyres, its almost a craftsmen work done on each tyre to increase offroad performance and reduce on road vibration and noise...but those are 100% offroad and no good to go on road, thus I got another set of tyres BFG MUD33"s.

If you want any other picture, video or detail about my rig, please let me know!

Best regards

Guiga

Please give me the web page of these lockers. Very interesting.

Best regards.

Finished it first of March after a two year rebuild and has been driven every day (almost) since. '71 with mild 350, custom flat tan paint, metal tech cage, Toyota 4spd/transfer, 33" bfg mud's, and a jeep rear seat. I love driving this thing!

Thanks. My wife says "all you want to do is drive around in that damn cruiser".

Looks great....I really like the flaming river column...almost bit the bullet and bought one. You did a great job!

Heres mine. Clean? No, but in my defense I am in Iraq serving in the army and I had my brother buy it while I was over here. it needs some work but when I get done she'll be one sweet rig.
