This is my 76 fj40, bought it about 6 months ago. Runs good. I wheel almost every weekend. This website is awesome for any problems I encounter. I'll try to post my pics if I can figure out this email machine....(computer)

Here is a pic of my buddy's immaculate '79 FJ40. This rig is beautiful, even up close. It has around 47,000 miles and looks about as new as it possibly could without any sort of resto. Enjoy.

i believe they are Heep springs and 55 springs, nautley? am i right?

Yeah, I think he said they are Jeep wagoneer springs out back, but I could be wrong... gives him a sweet wheelbase. Nutley's rig is actually one of my favorites, he drives it hard on the trails and it is still his DD! Gotta love it.

XJ rear springs with 2 leafs added (main with ends cut off, and a second leaf choped down a little) Front is fj40 springs flipped. Wheelbase is 102". Flexes awsome although I still need longer shocks It is no longer a DD as of about a month ago but it could be. Finally bought a beater to drive to work.

here is an updated pic as of 2 weeks ago. I made some hard half doors last week though

needs tires somthing feirce, gonna go with 38 SXs

Mine when I first got it on 32s (damn those were big) and then after I met the White Trash and LSLC gys and started wheeling with them. Got 35s and went to Katemcy!! And then to Superlift and other varios random wheeling places!!
