Its time to think about paint. 6H9 is a favorite but there seems to be a lot of variations.
I'd like to know more about this color of the cruiser found on google.
anyone know the owner? mudder?

I notice on the photo I posted that the anti inversion leaf spring shackle is on the perch not the hanger
as I have mine, any advantages to having it on the perch?
No one knows what color this is?

That's a shackle reversal, there are alot of mixed opinions on it. Looks like a non FJ40 green.

I love my shackle reversal... it drives WAY better on road , some say it gets in the way off road ... also that shackle is upside down and backwards

Yeah, I just noticed that the shackle is on wrong. Do you have any photos of your leaf spring front and rear suspension? In what way better on the road? I've got 2 1/2" lifted leaf springs plus anti inversion shackles on front and rear hangers and I know cruisers aren't Cadillacs but mine seems overly stiff and hits every bump like a hammer.

Love my tough looking green cruiser

They all look good.

If I ever get around to building my 2nd 40 it HAS to be GREEN.
I have a nearly complete 1970 stuffed in the corner of the barn in pieces earmarked for the project.

Years to go before worrying about color but the top color choice keeps changing,
Rustic Green is the current #1 but would go with any of them.

Toyota 6H9, reference shows it is a 1985 toyota color, Ditzler PPG code 45894.
Fashion Green #T303
Rustic Green #621
Nebula Green #622
Breathe Green #T1654

R. Laduke's sage green truck way back in this thread is the inspiration. I think it is 6H9 but looks lighter.

I have a hard top for the 2nd truck that has some rust and cracked fiberglass.
The plan was to cut it to a short cab to make one of these.

Less bump steer and softer in the front and I have stiff springs... I plan on swapping to OME's
