Also, I went to the website and couldn’t find any flange head jis bolts in m8x30x1.25 yellow zinc grade 10.9, I saw the standard head. I just like the idea of a wider head especially with a 12mm hex. Thoughts?

I would like to see a small assortment for a 60. I dont NEEEED anything right now, but a small assortment for when I run into issues would be nice. I have suggested it to anther vendor on here and he told me that it would be cheaper to just figure out what I needed and order it from his selection. I kind knew that and he kind of missed my point.@davework do you have a good 60 series kit? I am about to start a resto and will need a few replacement bolts along the way.
Thanks. I also purchased their full kit in silver zinc and then located a place in SLC where I had all of my original hardware re-zinced in silver. My only concern with the stainless was whether it would match the silver zinc or look odd. Perhaps I'm overthinking it, and it's close enough.View attachment 2883213
I went went with the Overland Metic stainless for those (could only find the zinc in gold).
Their full FJ40 kits really are great and quick delivery!
Getting close to done with my frame off and just running out of a few common sizes.
Glad to see you are still active on here!Just an update for anyone looking for M12 JIS Bolts - I've been working with mfg, and I think these are just going to be too expensive to produce in the Qty I could commit to, probably around $9 EA for a yellow zinc bolt, and double that for a stainless.
I would just buy OEM Toyota here:
2F Bell Housing to H42 Tranny = Toyota PN 91619-61235 (this is a M12x35 bolt) ~$2.30 EA from esteemed MUD vendors - this bolt could also be used for other M12 applications, cutting as needed.
As far as the engine mounts, the engine mount bracket to engine block look to be M10s. The engine mount themselves are M12, but vary whether a M12 bolt is needed for earlier models, to using a M12 nut on later models. The M12 bolt on earlier models is Toyota PN: 91619-41228
If OEM is not preferred for some reason, JIS M12s are available from BelMetric (in silver zinc):
Regular Hex Class 8.8 JIS Hex Bolts:
12x1.25 JIS Small Head Bolts : Bel-Metric, Metric Hardware, Metric Fasteners, Metric Bolts, Metric Nuts & Time-Sert Thread Repair
Flanged Head Class 10.9 JIS Hex Bolts:
M12X1.25 Flange Bolts : Bel-Metric, Metric Hardware, Metric Fasteners, Metric Bolts, Metric Nuts & Time-Sert Thread Repair
Hello John, 2x. Would love to see a 60 kit too.I still check this site every now and then hoping for a 60kit. I purchased the kit below from ebay...was expensive as it was shipped from AUS, but I have dipped into it several times when working on my truck. If something showed up here for the 60 with a different assortment I would buy it too as I have run into bolts that are not in this kit.

Bummer but thank you for the response. No plans for a 60 specific kit at this time. But the 40 assortment would serve very well based on my experience.
