11:02pm. Sitting on my couch in the living room. The cats have been going nuts for the last minute. No clue why. Then I heard, getting closer to the house, what I will assume is a pair of coyotes taking down a deer or a wild pig. Never seen a pig around here so maybe it was a local dog. Loud as hell and violent as sin, and my doors and windows were even closed! Five minutes later and the cats are still on edge.

ih8coyotes. They have killed off all my mom's geese. Hunters routinely take 20-30 each year on the family land. Wild boar are a nuisance too and do a lot of damage, but at least they are good to eat. Coyotes are good for nothing.

Except that they will attack wild boar. :D

Some Porsche pics from the lake yesterday for the Uber-bug lovers in this group.

per DAY

Not to be a downer, but I’m sitting at lunch watching an elderly parent scrutinizing the menu with her special needs son who doesn’t seem to want anything they have here. The woman is doing a bang up job, presumably because she’s had 40 years of practice.

I’m thankful that nobody needs to care for me and I hope they never do. Kudos to all of you parents, even the ones who only commit to the 18-year plan! ;)

So with work being stupid busy and my arthritic shoulder all jacked up I haven't had time or the ability to do anything to the bronco.

So I'm officially a web wheeler for a while..... I play with a few friends and my nephew, BIL every once in a while.

Guess which is my rig.

@uzj100 you get this yet?

My friend sent me a few, he hasn't been since 2013 and said its a sign that he is getting old because he didn't see one SEMA girl we knew from our teen years/college years....... they've all passed the expiration date and the newer crop has come in... LMAO.

If I wasn't back in the UK for my grandmothers 100th birthday at the end of next october i'd really try to go next year. Would be good to get an ONSC contingent

Hey everyone, new to the forum, and new to FJ40’s, so I thought I would introduce myself.

I’ve had 4 land rovers/rang rovers over the years, and always loved the FJ40, so I went ahead and got one. I’ve been looking for a while, and probably made some mistakes in my purchase, but I love it all the same.

I have a 1985 FJ40 (yep, 85 imported from Venezuela, made in 1984). It’s in pretty good shape, but I’ve had a few challenges in the last few months, mostly with the carb.

I had the guys at Fred Anderson in Raleigh do a bit of work on it, and they told me about ONSC, so I joined there a bit ago, but this is my first post. I’m hoping to make it out to the next triangle meet and see some of you in person.

Here are a couple pictures of the FJ40.
