Thanks for the input and names... was feeling for you if this is how they operate as im sure yours are custom so therefore they say zero warranty. They also said that all return shipping must be pre paid both ways. Curious to see how they respond to email.

Was it a direct fit model? those are warrantied 2 yrs to original purchaser. They say nothing of exclusion of universal fits.
Only that any one used in race applications, modified or repaired, or custom orders would be denied.

The plan is to reach past Pam.... was just venting as I got off the phone. Such complete contradiction to their own terms.

The model I use is in fact a direct fit with a top hose change and a steam port for the swaps. I doubt my name counts for a damn thing at Griffin but let me know if I can help in any way.

The unfortunate thing that you find now days with most companies is the people that work in customer service are entry level associates that really have no clue about product or company policies alot of managers will just tell them that blurb at the end about I can handle this. I know generally when a client reaches me (I am a Sales Director) its not a good thing I would go straight to him.

@jfz80 I had an issue with Autozone recently. I broke a Duralast 1/4 ratchet. Since it's a hand tool the warranty is very clear about Duralast hand tools have lifetime warranty. The website states you can return it to any Autozone and receive a free replacement.

Long story short I took it on a Sunday to replace it and the guys working told me to contact Duralast. I was like Wtf, seriously...Words were exchanged... they refused to replace it. I contacted Autozone through Facebook. The issue was resolved.

Companies hate bad press. It got the attention of somebody that cold resolve the problem. Maybe this would work for Griffin so you can explain your situation.

I just read a piece about two knot heads in GA that tried to commit armed robbery on a gun store, during the day. One robber shot dead, the other got away. I view this as a case of natural selection. Past that it makes me wonder, perhaps this is evolution realizing that the knot heads are multiplying far too fast and has now gone to presenting them in a killing field for the purpose of thinning the knot head heard. Just food for thought.

Picked up my grandfather's WW2 foot locker and the chest that took my Irish family out west in the 1800's while we were on our road trip. Grandfather was a professional race car driver, later in life, and pronounced his name like @mtweller . He was full Choctaw Indian.
