JT outfitters has a good warm bumper, it’s like the HFS one, but a bit longer. It is what is on my truck and I am happy with it

This popped up locally - worked out to be a great deal and completely functioning….now I have to decide what bumper I’m going to use.

One of these was recently on Boise craigslist for $800 iirc, functional and included a new synthetic rope. I contacted the seller, was about to check it out (40-miles local), but I couldn’t decide what bumper or mod to make for it, or if I really even wanted to deal with it. In any case, I snoozed too longThis popped up locally - worked out to be a great deal and completely functioning….now I have to decide what bumper I’m going to use.
Shoot me a line if you need a hand with part numbers, I've been pretty bad at posting more with this truck. This thread is a wealth of knowledge. I appreciate the pics and part numbers! Great build so far
Didn't realize how close you are! If I see another for a good price I'll kick it your wayOne of these was recently on Boise craigslist for $800 iirc, functional and included a new synthetic rope. If you already have an OEM bumper, I bought this winch support kit from @powthief19 :

Yeah, about 10mi16.4 Gallons eh? Mine usually takes 13-14 when it's right on empty. Sounds like I've got some more breathing room.
Oh nice freaking find!Took a trip to grab a new truck, but it’s not a Toyota, it’s way cooler!Ex fish and game w350 gasser. Going to polish her up real good and start driving daily.
That said, I got a buzz from @The Machinist he snagged a place to camp, so I went straight from California out to the Sawtooths.
Also for those unaware, the only reliable way to pop a pitman arm off, leave box attached to truck and pop ‘er off. Works every time for me.

Nice work!!! Need to rebuild a manual steering box. Do they sell rebuild kits or did you buy separate?Back from yet another trip to Singapore and already booked for my next trip....so I squeezed in a little work and received my bumper from @OPMACHINE. Bumper is lovely and popped on a Warn roller. Hopefully will slap this on this week. Aside from rebuilding carburetors I got to rebuild the steering gearbox, swap in a sweet new t-case knob and like always, a number of little changes and cleaning I never photograph..... and do a little camping. Then my coworker popped into the office with his art car.

Dunno about kits, Toyota doesn’t so I pieced together. It’s super basic. Pic shows the parts needed. The only additional parts would either be bearings (which I recommend from partsouq/amayama) and/or shims. If your bearings are nice - I’d just measure the tolerance per manual. If out of spec, add a shim. If bearings are rough, new bearings and I’d bet the tolerances are back in spec.Nice work!!! Need to rebuild a manual steering box.
